Default Question about Tombs and Stat reqs

I want to get Ce on my fighter. he started with 12 Intel and used a +1 tomb to meet the req for the feat. Will i still be able to get it, or do i have to start with the requirement.

Is the same true for stat enchantments that i get with Ap?

Buying a tomb won't help you at all, as the pictures above point out.

Buying and using a tome will. Tomes count towards what you need for feats.

Enhancements from AP do not count.

To answer your question, Yes, eating a +1 Int tome will allow you to take CE. Tomes factor into your base stat value. AP stats (human adaptability, WF constitution, etc.) do NOT factor into base value, therefore do not change the availability of feats based on stats.

    lol Ninetoes.

Well if you ate a +1 tome you'll be fine tomes count for feat requirements. If you ate a tomb though, you may want to consult your physician.

    OP,

Ninetoes' post is meant to get you to realize the difference between a "Tomb" (the top picture and how you spelled it) versus a "Tome" (the bottom picture and what you meant).

Tomb vs Tome can be a touchy subject here in the DDO Forums.

Rouge vs Rogue is similarly touchy.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

I don't think anyone found it offensive, just humorous. Humor aside, however, I along with others have answered your question

English is a tough language, even for native speakers in many cases.

    Don't take it personally.
The DDO crowd is a geeky bunch, and thus we have an overrepresentation of Ye Old(e) Grammar Police and their special attack force, the Spelling Squad(tm).

Most spelling errors are happily ignored, but there are three which provoke mild ridicule and hearty jokes:

    Rogue vs. Rouge
    Tome vs. Tomb
    Dual vs. Duel

To be honest, I wasn't even really attacking him, I just saw a good opportunity to throw pictures at a thread and amuse myself. The ONE spelling faux pas that gets me every time is the various versions of "ridiculous" that people use. Even people who make NO other errors in spelling will say "rediculous". I don't know why, but that one just makes me want to bleed from my eye sockets.

But my rouge used a +1 dex tomb so they can duel wield.

Whew thank god - it was just a typo, and here I was worried that the devs added something to Deleras requiring you to have lets say a minimum str of 18 or so to enter.

    /sarcasm

So ... I would really cause a fuss if I told you all that last night my 3rd level rouge who wanted duel weapons ate a +2 tomb?

EDIT: D'oh ... someone beat me to the comedy.

You know, that as actually my first idea for the joke post, but I decided to just go the pictorial route again. I wouldn't be surprised to see that lever in Delaras 2 change one day, though
