WoP Heavy Repeater build viable at end game?

I've never built a toon around heavy repeaters but I recently pulled a +3 wounding of puncturing heavy repeater (rr WF, ml12) and I was curious to know if it would be viable to build a toon around heavy repeaters.

I'm just wondering if heavy repeaters are a viable way to go for end game play because I don't seem to see any these days.

Can't speak about epic but for the rest of the stuff, my WoP longbow is fricking fantastic. with the better RoF it should be useful
