    Default Halfling Build (Please Help!)

I have yet to roll a Halfling, and I didn't really want to. Unfortunately, my one friend plays a Halfling Rogue (so cliche!), and I thought it would be cool to play his younger brother. Originally I didn't want to go Rogue (seeing as I consider Halfling Rogues as cliche as Elven Rangers), but I realized that there are so many halfling rogues because that's what they are good at.

Anyway, I wanted to make a somewhat DPS Halfling Rogue/Ranger hybrid that can still do such things as Disable Traps, Pick Locks, and all that fun stuff. So I set out to create this:

    Code:
Character Plan by DDO Character Planner Version 3.34
    DDO Character Planner Home Page

    Tauno Swiftfoot
Level 20 True Neutral Halfling Male
    (14 Rogue \ 6 Ranger)
    Hit Points: 194
    Spell Points: 40
    BAB: 16\16\21\26\26
    Fortitude: 13
    Reflex: 23
    Will: 10

                      Starting Feat/Enhancement
    Abilities Base Stats Modified Stats
    (28 Point) (Level 1) (Level 20)
    Strength 10 10
    Dexterity 18 26
    Constitution 12 12
    Intelligence 14 14
    Wisdom 12 12
    Charisma 8 8

                      Starting Feat/Enhancement
                     Base Skills Modified Skills
    Skills (Level 1) (Level 20)
    Balance 8 26
    Bluff -1 5
    Concentration 1 1
    Diplomacy -1 -1
    Disable Device 6 25

    Heal 1 1
    Hide 8 37

I realize that it is most likely not perfect (first time I'm planning out a Multiclass and using Halfling), but I like what I think it is capable of. Seeing as it's more of a flavor class that I'll be playing alongside my friend, it doesn't need to be the best, min/maxed thing out there. He's going to dual wield kukris, sneak around and slice things up, and occasionally disable a trap or open a lock. The levels in Ranger will allow him to use Cure Wands without a problem, and UMD should allow him to handle a fair assortment of wands and other magical devices.

So anyway, help would be appreciated. I want to keep the main essence of what I've got here intact, but I'm listening if you all have better ideas (which I'm sure you do).

EDIT: Added the two Feats I had forgotten about, which helps make this build a lot better. Thank you Psyryn.

you didnt select feats at lvls 6 & 15. looks fine (from my limited expierience) to me. When flavor is put over perfection, as long as you don't horribly mess up, you're fine. But i dont think your halfling luck bonuses are needed.

Alright, so he'll begin to get a little better at Level 4. I really wish I had Veteran Status lol, it would make this so much easier to start.

The 14th rogue level won't give you much. Better to go 1 monk, fighter or barbarian there instead. The Precision feat is pointless nowadays. Take Toughness earlier there instead, and Power Attack at level 18.

They are also infamous as being feared and merciless devourers of pies. As my halfling barbarian Brutie answered when questioned:
"Brutie, what is best in life?"
"To chew your pies, see them devoured before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women bakers".

Yeah I'm still considering what feats I'm going to take with this toon. Just hit 9 and got Tempest, he's doing alright so far, a little slow but he's picking up speed.

Edit: Removed Precision, taking Toughness earlier, then Improved Critical, and finally Greater Two Weapon Fighting.
