Sorc/Wiz

I know it sounds strange but I am asking for ideas, pros and cons. I am looking to possably build a Sorc 1/ Wiz 19. Anyone have ideas? Is this a good idea you think? What are the bad parts to it? Who sould I take first?

I am looking this way to be able to open up the spells (Wiz) and get the bonuses to SP (Sorc).

The way Sorc bonus SP works is ambiguous. You won't get 2x SP with a 1 level splash of Sorc.

The bonus XP is pro-rated per level; with only 5% Sorc levels, you only get 5% bonus XP.

So giving up the Wizard Capstone (+2 INT and -1 cost to all metamagics, including -1SP for each level Heightened) for a 5% gain from items and about a hundred SP is a bad idea.

The bonus sp is going to be miniscule in the long run...
The double sp bonus from items only applies for pure sorcs, non-pure get a percentage of that double sp bonus based on their ratio of sorc levels to total levels... in other words, you'd get 1/20th of that double sp bonus, or 5% more sp from items.
