    Post f2p & p2p lists

Which quests can a level 9 solo? I get bored waiting for a party to come along. I play mostly during the slow times (when students are in school). What quests can I do at lvl9 by myself and still get a few exp pnts?

    I'm f2p.

Depends on how good you are.

I like to solo Stormcleave, Gwylans, and Tear on hard/elite at that level.

    Red face list is helpful

I found this f2p list but, ironically, it was posted in the section of the ddo forums where f2p players are not allowed to post.

That's a great quest list but just an obvious warning/disclaimer - not all those are soloable. That's the complete quest list.

There are quite a few quests that are hard to solo even with a hireling and impossible without due to game mechanics. For example, Delera's Tomb Part 2 requires someone to pull a lever while someone else runs through a series of gates. This can be done with a hireling but not completely solo. There was a post at one point that had a list of all quests that could NOT be solo'd...if someone has the time it might still be searchable.

Also, I'll add Gwylan's to the list that you probably don't want to solo as a monk or a low strength character. Not due to the difficulty...those 8 crates you have to tote around are HEAVY!!! If you're a monk they'll make you uncentered if you pick up too many of them. Best way you could solo it would be to tote just a couple at a time but you'd have to run all the way back to the entrance after each cave to pick up the next load. Ditto for a low strength character - you'd get too encumbered to move if you tried to carry all of those crates. Multiple trips back and forth would make that quest a major pain in the rear.

What you can solo depends a lot more of your character and your skill than of the quest.

At level 9, nearly anything of the same level is soloable by a wizard. Not nearly as much by a fighter.

So, what are you playing? How much platinum are you willing to spend to get quests done?
Editing everything i post, since day 1. Things make much more sense inside my head.

Try soloing Stormcleave Outpost on Casual until you feel confident that you can graduate up to Normal.

Hard and Elite are soloable too, but require quite a bit more experience with the game, and are tough for classes without Charm effects.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

In general, I usually try to run on-level or lower-level quests when I'm soloing with my monk. You get full XP if you are one lvl above the quest level on normal diffixculty (two for hard and three for elite), and even two levels above is only -10% XP. On the other hand, there is no advantage in soloing a quest above your level (no bonus xp or such). So when soloing, I like to do all the quests, I' didn't do on hard/elite yet, which are below my current level. Even if you have a -50% on XP, the xp/time ratio is still very good and you usually don't have to use many consumables.

Considering Tears of Dakhaan: It is soloable, but both shrines are behind locked doors, so if you don't have open lock it can be quite hard to solo if you need to shrine once in a while (for SP or clickies, health can easily be bought in pots or wands). And you can only get all optionals if you have 21 wis, 21 str and 21 int.

Another option is to put up a LFM in the group panel (like: "Tears of Dakhaan, normal, just started") and just start the quest. Chances are that someone will come along. A full group is rarely needed.

when I solo that on my lower str characters I just go and kill everything and then come back and get the crates for one trip(well two but its not bad)
