Looking for String 30% ring of SR 19

Hi I am looking for a 30% Striding ring of SR 19.

To tell the truth, I don't even know if those CAN drop, or if they do it may have to be race restricted.

That would have to be a pretty high level item...maybe even L20. What possible use is SR19 past L10?

Personally I love SR. But I would want to hear why people think it is a waste.
It wont help with the damage spells but it helps with enemy casters that casts CC like holds and dance.

I'd settle for something less if the item is indeed not possible in game.
Maybe 25% & 17 SR, or any reasonably high combination of Striding and SR

To beat SR the attacker must make a caster level check which is caster level + D20. Assuming an average roll of 10.5 on a D20, that means SR17 is beaten half the time by a L7 caster. Once you hit CR16 mobs (which we do by what, L12?) they will bypass SR17 100% of the time.

SR should be very good (and can be at low levels) but it doesn't scale well due to the overinflated casterlevels mobs have.

the only useful SR in higher levels comes from the devine buff, because it also scales with the caster level. at lvl 20 it will be an SR of 32

Yeah by the time you could wear that ring the SR wont work...

The SR from the spell at level 20 (SR 32) fails you at least 3/4 of the time... 19 would do nothing at all.
