I'm looking for a guild. Want to start by asking if there are any decent size Christian guilds out there. Server doesn't matter.

Interesting to see this request.
I'd guess that Christian guilds are in the minority. After all the game lore is pretty much all built on, what would be considered blasphemous pagan beliefs.
I see that you would probably look at it as we all do, entertaining interactive fiction, but that's what we've been trying to explain since PnP.
A church group tried to shut down the PnP club I went to as a kid.
Why does it have to be a christian guild? I'm part of a polite, nice and friendly guild.
I a christian myself, but IMO that has nothing to do with the game, and should not be included in the game.
My wife and I started a christian guild on argo once called 'Crusaders of Christ'. Didnt grow too fast , but we didnt go looking too hard either.
After meeting regular friends we made online in DDO. At about the same time the 'Friends list' got messed up ingame and made it very difficult to locate such players.
Since 'guild list' was the only true way to locate friends and know when they were on, we all created a guild to reflect all of our lives and gaming styles.
SO......all I will say is. Christians do play the game. Finding a guild to share such ideas and talk ingame may be hard.
In the 'message of the day', we would display a passage from bible to make you think.
Now it simply reflects our new guild moto "where friends, adventure and good times meet"
When DDO was in beta, I caught so much flak for even mentioning Christianity that I'm only just NOW looking into DDO years later. I wasn't evangelizing, just any use of Christianese lingo or mention of Christianity (or morality, so it seemed) got me harrassed by snarky instigators named Evil Child or Lord of Chaos or whatever, it got my posts moved to other forums because it was deemed too political or whatever, it got my threads locked, it earned me cease and desists from mods as if I wasn't even allowed to talk. It was such an outrage I just said to Hell with it all and quit playing D&D altogether. But hey, what can I do, I like D&D, I like WotC in general, I've played WotC games for years even though I once seriously considered becoming a Franciscan priest. Some people may wonder how a Christian can like D&D with it's themes of gods and magic, well, Joseph was head of the magi under pharoh, Moses was raised by the court magi, and I seem to recall someone worshipped by mages who said "Ye are all gods", so pardon me if I have a soft spot for the gods, wizards, priests, and perhaps most sympathetically of all, the socially maligned and outcast paladins, because I for one know, it's not easy when your party members violate your alignment restrictions.
"[I have good news and bad news. Good news is I can Lay Hands, so you don't have to die. Bad news is I can Detect Evil.]"
Its quite possible to play most online mmo's as a good member of religion x, y, or z.
It is difficult to do RP in game as a member of many religions.
I have never seen a real world religion or politics thread not become "flamy".
This one already has. Thanks Sabbatica...
I suggest looking for a guild that advertises as "family friendly"
Occasionally playing on Cannith
Llyren, Kelda and some others.
Why do you think that is? Do your real world beliefs need to have something to do with your characters outlook on life and the game world?
Wonder how flamy the thread goes after someone else than a Christian posts here?Hmm actually that would be me. Just saying
that I find this guild name 'Crusaders of Christ' offensive and probably it is against the rules of conduct as well. Equivalent to something like Bomber's for Allah, don't you think?
Search of family friendly is a good suggestion, probably that is what the op is after. I hope.
Reality is for those who can't imagine anything better.
A strongly held belief, will affect how someone acts and reacts, even in gameplay.
As for your considering one guild name to be comparable with another guild name I think you've gone a bit too far out on a limb. Many of the faithfull of any religion, would consider some of the actions taken in the name of thier own religion, to be abominations.
For some research on of belief and harm, check out this site. Somewhere, someone, is taking some belief, to far.

IBL...
Religion and Politics do not belong on the forums (I will post the link to the specific forums rule that says so when I am not on my mobile).
That being said, to the OP, my suggestion would be to either start one of your own without actually using an obvious Christian name, or just look through the guild listings and see if there is one that fits.
Edit...
12. Discussion of religious or political topics is prohibited on the DDO forums.

i do not think religion shold be brought brought into this game as it can only segment people and willl in the end only cause problems.
I think i would be inappropriate to bring religion into a game that has been made around the basis that dieties exsist but no RL religions are present.
edit: even me saying this will likley cause trouble, so i appoliize in advance if iruffled any feathers.
Not looking to follow this guy's footsteps into whatever guild he's looking for, but I'm amazed at how many people are assuming he wants to RP christianity. Isn't he just looking for a group of like minded people around whom he doesn't have to be so careful about what he says? Is this thread not very solid evidence that such a need exists?
When australians ask about Australian guilds, people don't ask how they plan to role play australian in the game. Of course not, that would be a stupid question. So why is it any less stupid to assume that is the op's goal here?
Telling someone it's wrong for them to associate with like minded individuals in a harmless way like this is what is inappropriate.
My Videos Shadow Mage (ok, it's a build now)
A forum post should be like a skirt - long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.
Britches and Hose kidnapped my dog and are forcing him to farm Shroud ingredients.

Archangels
Pwesiela - Completionist Arcane Archer; Pia - Silver Flame Assassin; Aes - of the Blue Ajah; Insene - Deathpriest; Enaila - Aiel Bodyguard; Uduk - Dwarven Meatwall; Vitalien -Warder
Austrailian is not an opinion, where as christianity is. I did not think he was going to RP his religion i just thought it seemed unessisary that he would need to find such people, as 98% of ddo is very poliet or very silent.
This is allready turning into a flame war however and Ive allready began to breah the fourm rules - so i must stop.. appoligies for any ruffuled feathers and i will end my arguement with:
We have different interpretations of the OP and we both will have to be allright with that.
I dont see how anyone could possibly misinterpret this as describing a desire to role play...
/sarcasm off
The op has not broken any rules about discussing religion. He has not stated anything along the lines of looking to roleplay or "bring into the game" (for those who want to play antics with semantics) his faith.
He's looking for like minded individuals, and saying that is a forum violation is absurd.

Then you clearly misunderstand the forum rules. We are not supposed to discuss religion. There is a very clear difference between mentioning religion, and discussing it.
The op is not trying to discuss the details of his faith, he has only stated what it actually is and if you connect that statement to the fact that he is seeking like minded individuals to play with, it makes it clear that is why he stated his faith. Nowhere has he invited any form of discussion about the details of that faith.
Islam
Judaism
Buddhism
Wicca
etc.
Oh nooooos! Am I breaking the forum rules?!!!
Nope. Please make a little more effort to understand the rules you are tossing out there.
