I'm sad to see it come to this but sadely it has i join groups all the time and have to wait while the leader weeds out the softies i'm addicted to tod and sadely most people checking my ddo dont know what their looking for let alone the facts are it doesent always update and people have more weapons than they cary

1. look at stats ball park it and look at gear could be in hagle mode

2. look at quest completion list its right their compleated 30 times probably knows what the story is

3. dont over analyse send a tell ask direct questions got boots, got fort, can you kite, can you tank

this takes 30 sec and is for the most part unesassary as i seem to run with the same names over and over and yes we murder sol love those larges

My bard and barb both qualify. That's nice. However *I* have a MAJOR requirement : fun. Could I be guaranteed of such a requirement your raid group?

Viv with those requirements I hope they must be doing elite, cause on normal as long as people have got boots or protection it just isn't that hard. Lets face it the hardest part of that whole raid is surviving the lag in part 2 to get to 3 and personally I would rather have your sorc kiting in there than all of those high hp high dps toons supposedly needed for the end.

Still it is Murderfaces raid and everyone should appreciate that he is running them and he does have a sound strategy even if it is NOT the only one. Maybe it is needed on elite after all we know how bs it is for ac tanks in there given turbines current methods of scaling.

Anyway regardless it does mean more TOD runs for the server and that can only be good.

While I generally dislike being so strict about entry requirements for a group running any content, after you fail a half dozen ToDs because too much of the group can't hack it, seeing Murder's point of view isn't too difficult.

On my end, I've gone a different route lately: I'm running my AC tank through there, and like buddying up with Maddon (AC tank specc'ed much more for AC, Con and Intimidate than my guy who also sports decent DPS; and a real DPS option with GTHF). He Intimitanks Horoth, all the other melee (except one on orthon duty) get on Horoth until Sulu pops, then I tank Sulu and all of the melee but one move over to kill him. The one excepted melee stays on Horoth DPS with Maddon turtled up, taking almost no damage.

We could probably get done faster with 2 pure DPS in place of the two tanks, but this way there is more room for error and healers have used zero resources (no scrolls, no pots).

Still, I'll try to catch one or two of Murder's runs on my way to my 20th ToD (coming up soon).

Murderface, I know you keep trying to rope me in, and that I'm always in something else already--when are you likely to be running ToD next?

[Edit] Overall, I still think the usage of MyDDO for exclusionary purposes is unnecessary; ask questions and go from there. Well-played, knowledgeable people with the resources and will to perform and complete are going to be pretty close to being on par with those who have perfect equipment but less skill or a worse attitude.

I can appreciate and understand what you're trying to do, but I hope you're a bit more flexible with your HP requirements. Otherwise, you're eliminating almost every elven character from your raids.

I'm at lvl 9 now, I figure I've got a solid month of playing before I even have to worry about getting enough bastion runs in to get that <insert multiple explatives here> blood....

What's more, Hordo has finally realized that not dying is kind of important, and has since been taking steps to ensure his survival! I don't expect to see Hordiva crumbling at the first Render in The Hound anymore!

Seriously! We on Khyber do a lot of PUGing, not necessarily because our guilds aren't prolific raiders, or aren't up to it, but because we're about community, even if that community engages in some hazing and good-natured backstabbing!

One may like, and enjoy running with, ones guildmates, but one may also enjoy meeting and running quests with a wider range of people, perhaps even new people. Hence, PUGing. Get out and meet the sundry denizens of your server!
