Default Advice Needed: Level 18 Cleric to be converted to 17/2/1 Cleric/Monk/Rogue

Guys I want to convert my cleric to Valiance build but I have no experience in Reincarnation stuff so I need advise. The cleric is level 18 human in 32 point build. Please answer the questions below.

    1) What kind of Heartwood do I need?

    2) What will be the sequence on releveling and assigning classes when I reincarnate?

    3) Should I level to 20 first and choose my last 2 levels as monk?

    4) Valiance selected race as halfling? What is the reason for the race and what is the advantanges/disadvantages over human?

    5) Is build doable or practical for Human Clerics?

    Thanks,

I'd guess you'd only need a +1 lesser heart of wood at this point, change a lvl of cleric to rogue, then take 19 and 20 as monk. Trouble is, you should take rogue at lvl 1 for this build to get the maximum number of skill points.

For a full TR? He has the lvl distribution etc on the first page of this thread.

18 cleric/2 monk is a solid build as well, if planned for properly.

Halflings are a dex 'friendly' race, which lends itself nicely to this build. Halflings also get bonus' to sneak attack dmg which is nice as well and a size bonus to AC.

You could go human, but to get the most bang for your buck, halfling is the way to go.

    Thanks for the advise.

If I am going to +1 LR for human is the starting stats ok?

    STR: 12
    DEX: 16
    CON: 10
    INT: 10
    WIS: 16
    CHA: 10

I still have excess of 2 stat distribution, where do you guys think I should put it? Should I put it to CON, CHA, INT or STR? This is a 32 point build.

I really wish I could do a halfling but TR or rerolling is not an option for now.

Humans though will get more skill points and an extra feat? What feat will I choose though to complement Valiance build as a human?

If you really want to switch over to my build (like someone said 18cl/2mnk is good too), then I would definitely take the last 2 levels as monk. Then use a +1 heart of wood to take rogue at first level, then level up the same as before.

    2) What will be the sequence on releveling and assigning classes when I reincarnate?
I have yet to do anything other than True Reincarnate but in your case I think it will be 1st rog, cleric rest of way then monk as last two levels. I *think* this will work but I know the reincarnate process is tricky. Since you'll never have 4 different classes at the same time this should be valid though.

    3) Should I level to 20 first and choose my last 2 levels as monk?Yep

    4) Valiance selected race as halfling? What is the reason for the race and what is the advantanges/disadvantages over human?
Halfing was for the additional dex, the plus 1 to hit, the plus 1 to AC and plus 1 to saves. Plus the nice sneak attack bonus. Human is pretty good too. Humans would get the extra feat (for toughness), can split their bonus stats into dex and wis instead of just dex, plus human boost would be pretty nice. I personally would find the plus 5 AC or skills boost or maybe even attack boost for epic to be quite useful.

    5) Is build doable or practical for Human Clerics?
Yep, might even be better for epic content if you're at all interested in that.

    Thanks,

Thanks guys, I appreciate the reply.

Last question, my allocation above still needs to spend 2 points of stats? What is the best stat to put this?

Put those 2 stat points into con, 10 con is definitely less than ideal. 12 is improvement 08 charisma and 14 con is even better.

Wouldn't dropping CHA to 8 only give a 13 CON (2 build points per stat after 12 on a human)? Although this may work because of human +1 CON enhancement which would open up 3rd tier toughness.

09 through 14 only cost 1 point each, 15 and 16 cost 2 points each, 17 and 18 cost 3 points each. Apply racial bonuses after point buy.
