Just fix the coding so that we can have Min II handwraps and I'll be happy.

How about the rope with gold ring that's wrapped around the monk's arm in the DDO splash screen when you launch the game?
I envision Jackie Chan-esque melee with it:

I am a chinese . In fact , monk uses totally 18 kinds of weapons.
If you are interested in what weapons they are, you can google it , most of them has no official english name.(or at least i can't spell them =P)
No. What I meant was that in PnP a quarterstaff was a weapon with damage on both ends. To effectively use both ends you had to have twf. From a monk stand point we don't swing a quarterstaff the same way a barbarian swings a greataxe.
In other words making it this way would allow monks to use any and all monk weapons (other than thrown) with twf to benefit. Granted I'm sure there are those qstaff users who would say no because they'd lose the extra power attack bonus infavor of extra attack hooks.
But dude, having ~double the reach of 2h weapons would be so awsum!
You could liek run around herd kiting and get glancing blows on a massive amounts of mobs without them ever getting close enough to hit you!!
i.e. reach weapons don't mix well with game as is
forum search fu not good enough to find a more up to date quote
I'm still learning how to party the cleric. Don't ask me to be in the thick of melee AND keep you alive as you zerg all over the place. I can't do it and have stopped trying.
After mastering the forms, one tends to use those techniques with weapons as "an extension of your own body".
IE: There is no reason a fist or foot should be more effective than some good folded steel. The idea that a monk would have better dps or faster attack rate unarmed is kinda foolish ...
Not to mention better reach is always an advantage.
seeing as turbine "tries" to stick with 3.5 rules: normal weapon monks are proficient(most are missing in game) with club, crossbow (light or heavy), dagger, handaxe, javelin, kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, siangham, and sling. True there are feats to make non-monk weapons count as one and while real world weapons make make sense to use, most people don't want them unless theres a source book to back them up let alone use them. most players go fist or TWF kamas for to different damage types and Dr bypassing.
Mainly I would love to see more of the defect arrows modding feats from 3.5 non core-books, like:
Snatch Arrows http://dnd.wikia.com/wiki/Snatch_Arrows
if we had epic levels(which i never see happening):
Exceptional Deflection:http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Exceptional_Deflection
Infinite Deflection: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Infinite_Deflection
Reflect Arrows: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Reflect_Arrows
those three feats could be used to send back spells that require ranged touch attacks, take a beholder, most to all of there eye ray attacks are rays(which are ranged touch attacks) x3 my dm is still peved about that one
