On-hit 5% chance, Freezing Encasement, fortitude save DC 35, target immobilized and auto-crit

this is my first greensteel item and i really dont understand alot of this (im simple minded) but i was just wondering how this would do in some epic quests or if i should remake it,if so could you post witch one would be best i hav a lvl 14 thf (fighter) 32 pointer have most 2hf feats not alot of crit feats stats at lvl 20 might be 30 str 22 dex 30 con with no green steel items on dnt know how i should go with them yet still tryin to figure out the greataxe lol

Not sure if I did it completely right but here is what I did with my barb.

    I made 3 weapons:
    Min II Greataxe
    Lit II Falchion
    Pos/Pos/Pos Maul

    No regrets.

Personally for a new player with a 2HF char I would recommend the following order of shroud crafting

Tier 2 Pos/elect Greataxe or Falc (at tier two for a new player still better dps then anything else they got most likely for many things you face during a quest.)
Tier 2 Pos/Pos Maul (same comment as before but for dr/bludge and rez clickie)
Tier 2 Hp item (25 extra hp)
Tier 3 Min 2 Greataxe (if you lucky might even have enough larges by now)
    Upgrade Pos/elect to tier 3 (elect 2)
Upgrade hp item too Tier 3
    Upgrade Maul too Tier 3

With the advent of the new crafting system which allows for pretty cheap crafting of +x Holy (burst) silver/cold iron Weapon of lawful/chaotic Outsider Bane (~40 arcane/divine crafting level) I'd definitely make a Lightning II weapon first and skip the MinII.

Very good goals. The Cannith Crafting is a good point against the Min II, but still a good goal.

Lit2 Falchion -> Tier 3 HP Item (Triple Earth is cheap, Goggles fit into MANY gearsets) -> Triple Positive Maul

    In that order.

For a Devil Beater, it's very easy to craft one for cheap.

I'll go against the consensus a little bit here:

Make a Lit II for your first GS! (but maybe make a falchion?)

You can buy a perfectly fine 'boss beater' on the AH for a very reasonable price. Try for a Holy Silver (of maiming?); silver of pure good (vicious?); or worst case, metalline of pure good. Just get the highest + one that you can.

The Lit II will be fantastic for killing everything on the way to the boss, and for the boss you can just whack out the 'devil beater'.

For most Epics your lit II will be much better anyway.

The option with your lit II is to lose a small amount of DPS to make it 'goodburst' as opposed to holy. On a falchion You'll lose (over 20 swings) 17.5 damage altogether --> but it now works on anything 'non-evil'.
Not suggesting you follow that path, but just putting the option out there for you!

Something to consider before going the falc good burst route is what are the mobs you will be actually fighting that are non-evil.

Maybe there something am forgetting but the ones that come to mind are golams (better to use something to break dr), Elementals (heavy fort therefore the extra base damage from the GA properly worth more then the extra pure good bursts), rust monsters (something that wont break after 5 swings).

Some other random animals that are usually harmless.

For the elect 2 vs min 2 I guess it depends on how patience you are and your long term goals. Ultimately every THF want a Epic Sos. Once you got one I really cant think of a situation where I would still use a elect 2. Min 2 will always be a decent fall back weapon that you know going to bypass almost anyone dr.

crafting defiantly easily then getting the larges for a min 2 but personally I just been selling all my greater essences because I was bored to tears with in 15min of click, click.click level 2, click, click etc. I don't have enough free time after work these days to justify not enjoying my time on DDO. At least after 100's shrouds there still 11 other people in the group that occasionally provide some entertainment for me.

i recommend the www.perfectweb.org crafting guide because it gives you a good overview of your entire weapon and you can set the effect result.

also, here is the general rule-
lit II- better against almost all trash, better against normal raid bosses
min II- better against hard/elite raid bosses, eLailat, lightning immune monsters

for epics and normal running, lit II all the way
for hard/elite questing or immune to lightning mobs, min II all the way

if you are really short on larges, and are only making one axe, then min II, but i would seriously recommend lit II first, then a min II

    i suggest holy/shock burst/ shockblast+ goodblast
holy does more damage than good burst vs. evil, and almost everything you face will be evil, the only exceptions being: rust monsters (you wont be using a GS on these anyway), oozes (see rust monster comment), elementals (there arent any of significant concern as of now), and animals (there arent any of any concern right now)
