    Default Waves of Exhaustion

    Waves of Exhaustion:

Is there a save? Does it affect bosses? Is it blocked by Death Ward?

there's a common misconception that Deathward protects against necromancy in general. is there a complete list of all the effects which Deathward actually defends against?

Death Ward blocks some other things that aren't death effects (such as Harm, Enervation - anything negative energy based).

Waves isn't negative energy, however, so it's not prevented by Death Ward.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

Yes it does (death ward the spell). Deathblock (enchantment on items) does not.

just tested it. vampire priests in vol were casting Inflict Wounds spells at me while i had Death Ward (the spell) up and it still dealt (full) damage. death ward does not protect against negative energy damage.

it will protect against level drain, but that is not the same thing at all.

Death Ward, the spell, is supposed to protect from negative energy of all types. If it is not, bug report it.
