    Default Implosion

At the moment this spell is not exactly great. look at casters, they have wail of the banshee with a short cool down and a mass radius. Ok Implosion has a mass radius aswell, but it only kills 1 mob at a time!! surly this can't be right, this limits the amount of mob you can kill in 1 go with it. Can you either change it so all mobs around you have to make a save at the same time OR lower the cooldown OR increase the time limit/make it extendable.

Doing any of these will start to bring healers a bit closer to casters instead of just/Blade Barriering allthe time

um, in what way is a cleric/fvs behind a arcane caster? you have to be kidding? i rather drop 2 bladebarriers than using implosion. implosion stops to be that good in amrath and later anyway...

It is a nice spell for looting when doing things such as Vale, but at the moment the most amount of mobs you can kill with it is about 5 and thats if they all fail the save 1st time

there is just 3 mobs in vale that don't die like flies in a bladbarrier. troglodyte rangers, troglodyte shaman and the rakshasa named guy. as those don't come in swarms its mostly easier to pick em off with destruction.

my comments on blade barrier are unfortunately only true and viable if you have empower+maximize+heighten or at least maximize. but even the halfling-healbot should carry that around...

What does the Halfling part have to do with it?

lots of halfling clerics choose 3 dragonmarks + empower healing + toughness + 2 mental toughnesses as feats to dedicate themselves as pure red-bar minigame players. that however does not mean that you can't dragonmark a halfling cleric and still lay down a good bb

It seems to proc eight times.

It's still a useless spell in endgame content, however, as everything is immune.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

I have a 20 sorc that carries wail. I had a 20 cleric (TR'd now) that used implosion. I'd prefer to have implosion for its duration. Also, though probably not WAI (and maybe fixed since?) it was fun during hound runs to cast implosion, then run up to the beholders and watch as they wither -- their anti-magic didn't affect implosion.

Implosion spell might be better, but right now I think it's not the worst problem which affects divine casters; as a matter of fact, several divine spells perform poorly, so poorly they are seldom used.

Let's look at FvS: they pay their larger mana pool with the availability of fewer spell-slots. Nevertheless, as a matter of fact, FvS manage to load (almost) all the useful spells: this means that a big share of divine spells are considered (and actually are) useless.
On Thelanis: Hallelujah (EK wraith) - Jerryrigged Juggernaut (Fiend Warlock) - Sepulchral (Druid) - Chopchopchop (Monk) - Alleyshadow (retired gimped monkcher). Formerly on Keeper : Misericordia (Thug) - Mumbo Jumbo (Battle Caster) - Infernal Can (WF Kinda Cleric) - Halleluyah (Melee Spellsinger).

Agreed that it always seemed closer to eight for me. I used it in the Orchard and would pileon Wraiths and Shadows and they all went boom. More than 5, I know that for sure.
