Default Dwarven footman 32 point build advice

Ok so im an alt-a-holic And now i have my 32 point builds im looking at my main whos only lvl 4 and thinking hmmm i could re-roll him to 32 points but same build.

I followed the Dwarven footman build on the wiki and was wondering where to spend the other 4 points.

Should i boost dex to 16 or con to 18? or level off some of the other stats to negate the minuses?

    Abilities Base Stats for build
    Strength 18
    Dexterity 14
    Constitution 16
    Intelligence 8
    Wisdom 8
    Charisma 6

don't under estimate the power of skills. those 2 extra points might fit nicely into Intelligence.
jump & balance come to mind.

you may also consider 15 dex if you have any plans for dual-wielding weapons.

to take any of the 2 weapon fighting feats, you will need 15 dex, the higher ones require 17 dex. but by the time you reach those higher levels, you can usually get your hands on a +2 tome

Tough question. I'm wondering, with rage's will-save bonus, how much benefit you could get out of throwing 2-4 points in wisdom for will-saves. Then again you only get three skills, so investing points in int isn't out of the question (deciding between intimidate, jump, UMD, balance, and maybe haggle or spot can be tough).

Those points are really preference, at this point. They could go in dex for reflex, wis for will-saves, con for hp, or int for skills. You'd need to spend item slots and tomes on dex and/or will if you want those saves to be relevant, though.

    For reflex:
    6 base
    +3 base dex
    +3 dex +6 item
    +1(2) dex +2/+4 tome
    +5 resistance
    +8 uncanny dodge
= 25 - 27 reflex for when you need it; not bad...

    For will:
    6 base
    +1 base wis
    +3 wis +6 item
    +1(2) wis +2/+4 tome
    +5 resistance
    +4 rage
    = 20 - 21 will

You could add to those +1 from +2 exceptionals, a +1 alchemical from stone of change crafting, +1 from a Yugoloth pot, and probably a bit more (can't think of much, really). Those aren't bad saves for quite a bit of the content.

Either that or you pick two extra skills, or get +20 hp and +6 seconds of rage (iirc?).

thanks for the replys folks, I went with +4 on Int in the nd to boost skills and feel it really paid off as i can put a litle into Search and jump and not just Intimidate powerered through yesterday and got him to 1 rank below 4 which isnt far below the char he's replacing.
