Rainbow in the Dark

change the light u use to find ur way thru the dungeon to something anyone can use or carry with no penalty, Ive tried to salvage a few runs when the light bearer is dead , with my monk but carrying light uncenters him making him lose alot of his monk abilities and not fight as well, same prob with two handed users, who cant carry the light and swing that greatsword.

I was in a group awhile back and idiot caster ran into the teleport to fire pit trap just as the rogue was disabling it, so he got teleported as the trap was disabled and once disabled we couldnt get to him and he dies of course and we cant get the light.

Would be nice if it could be carried or worn or even had light spell clickies on it so it could be used by anyone so if I wanna run in there on a easy difficulty setting and try to solo it I can!

I solo Rainbow quite often with my monk. I use Empty Body (Shadow walk spell) to see in the dark. Of course, at level it might be harder.

Would be nice if the races that were supposed to have darkvision actually had it, and/or the Darkvision spell.

Then again, there's not much actual darkness in DDO.

Except for that jump in the 2nd furnace room of The Pit. I can't see a thing up there.

Wouldnt help in rainbow its magical darkness in there.

Otto's Sphere of Dancing helps in Rainbow to get back to the scepter if you wipe. Solo'ing it once the named Beholder got me with a death so I had to Sphere my way back since I didn't want to reset it.

For this one I adjust Contrast + Brightness for the game.

Ooo never tried Shadow Walk for it. Will do next time to see how it is on my wizard.
