Default I need opinions with a dps/support build!

hey everyone, i've been reading the ddo forums for a while and it helped me greatly with my pure wisdom cleric. Since i'm a bit bored of healing sometimes i decided to try to create a halfling dps character that use dragon marks and wizard buffs... What i wanted to create is a relativly good dps that can heal and buff itself because, as a cleric, i've encountered way too many people that cant self heal at all.. (no.. lv1 cure potions after the fight isnt what i call being self-sufficient.) I am not saying here that they sux or anything... far from that, im just saying thats its not how i want to self-heal as a dps.

Sooo... i've picked the halfling with healing dragon marks and decided to give it a try. My build isnt 100% complete because some things might change (like the number of levels or the order) so some stuff like the skillpoints or the enhancements arent completed or how it will really be like.

Now this is where i need help from everyone:
    -is it doable?
-am i gonna have a good dps?
-my hp seems fine (around 400hp with really basic junk at lv20)
-saves arent too bad looking, i might concentrate a bit on saves too by using enhancements.
-i have the heavy picks in mind as weapons cuz of the 4x crit but it can be replaced with any other weapon with better crit% etc..

conclusion? DESTROY my build if you need to i dont mind. I want to hear why its good / why its bad etc.
    Just keep in mind that:
-i want to self heal with halflings dragon marks
-i need alot of feats so its why i picked fighter and wizard levels (maximize or empower healing work on dragonmarks right?).
    -i'm not a dps / melee expert.

thats pretty much all i guess, ty for reading this and ty in advance for your reply!

just out of curiosity but what does the 7th level of fighter give compared to an 8th level of wizard?

as for the build in general...i believe a warchanter bard may suit your healing and buffing needs better.

the 7th fighter level was for... Enhancement: Fighter Critical Accuracy III and Enhancement: Fighter Toughness III on the other hand i think a 8th level of wiz mean another meta-feat but extend and maximize or empower healing was enough i thought for a dps. I thought too about 9 lv of wizard but its at the cost of those enhancements.

its true too that a few levels of bard would help me more or even to go like 18bard/2xxx but its a feat starved build and fighter / wizards give the most feats, the ranger levels are having a weapon in each hand for free.. i take free feats wherever i can!!

you won't get another meta-feat form the 8th wiz, but you do get a couple more 4th level spells you can use, particularly Wall of Fire. i would also drop the Power Critical feat and pick up Power Attack instead. i would also suggest swapping toughness and the weapon focus in order.

also for a bard build you might want to look at this one: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=195289 it's not quite as solid on the self healing, but you will be able to UMD cure wands and heal scrolls.

and if you've got warforged unlocked...may i suggest: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=181901 very solid self-healing, buffing, and DPS.
