Returned to Gianthold to sell loot from the previous hour of killing everything that moved.

left the game on like I usually do, being VIP I dont know the timeout for afk yet.

Grabbed a bite to eat, watched some t.v.

Come back to my machine after an hour or so and it looks like it was rebooted.

on desktop no DDO insight.

No big deal I think, until I log in and have graphical ghosts pop up, every thing from my radar turning into a mouth, to my entire screen looking like a lionskin blindfold.

Have updated everything, checked and double checked everything I can think of, and cannot play the game for more then 5 minutes without it locking up on me now.

Just got done playing WoW for an hour, even though the graphics in WoW are a little underdone, I am thinking it isn't a video card issue.

Only thing I can gather might be some type of Windows Update has conflicted with my game, doesn't make sense but at this point I am not ruling anything crazy out.

So the question is, was there a Client Side patch on March 2nd, between 0100 and 0300 est?

Or is this some crazy Windows XP update conflict ?

I'm having similar problems - game freezes, screen gets pink hue, computer locks up. Windows wont startup normally after hard reboot. Its as if some recent patch by Turbine or Windows kicks out the video card. When I try to reboot, as windows starts to load there is the usual "Microsoft" text logo with the green loading bar... the words are usually white, but there are little red dots in the pixels now.

It seems alot of peeps are dealing with this "black screen" issue thats popped up in the last few weeks.

This problem is brand spanking new, have had zero issues with the game until 2 nights ago.

It appears that maybe my Nvidia 8500 Gt's or Direct X 9C is no longer supported.

My video corrupts on the log in screen now. Textures are all garbled as soon as I log in.
