I'm a complete newb when it comes to the multiclasses on DDO. I have a cleric that I am focusing as a melee cleric. I have a few questions, first, how exactly does multiclassing work? Does it matter what level I decide to pick a second class? (For example, I am a level 10 cleric and decide to get Paladin as my second class) Is the XP split between both classes once you multiclass?
I was thinking of a level 10/10 cleric/FvS or if that is a bad mix, maybe a 10/10 Cleric/Paladin since I already have higher fighter stats? Although I am very interested in the FvS.
Would either of those be wanted in raids at end-game? Before I pick a second class I want to make sure I'm doing a build thats actually worth it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, sorry my post is so long. >.<
Basically I just want to know how leveling up multiclasses work, if it matters what level you decide to pick another class, if the XP is split once you do, and if either of those mixes I mentioned above are wanted in end-game. I dont mind making a new Cleric/? if I have to, as long as I know its for a good end-game build. =)
Thanks!
