So I am a metalhead. I admit it. I'm borderline elitist at points. But tonight here in a lovely part of the sandbox the almighty up and coming Five Finger Death Punch came out to kick alittle A$$ for the US overhere. Ive been a fan for a tad over three years but have never seen them live. Well let me say they are simply amazing. You come to play metal for the troops. That in of itself takes balls. When you can take a mixed bag crowd and win them over in the span of 4-5 tunes you are consumate pros. These guys delivered. This was a show that I would have shelled out cash to see. They were heavy, had killer stage presence and energy. The musicianship was top rate and they were humble. They came off a 40 date US run had a 3 day break before coming to play for us.
To see obvious non metalheads pumping fists and banging their heads was awesome. Its rare the heavy acts come overhere. They did. Im sure they will lay waste to a few thousand more before they head back stateside. If you havent heard them check out "never enough" 'hard to see' or "walk away". Cheers.
