New Player looking for casual guild

Hi everyone,

My name is Brian and while I'm a veteran of pen and paper D&D (playing since early 80s) I am a total virgin when it comes to MMOs (this is my first one). I'm a VIP member, been playing for a few weeks now and while I enjoy the aspects of soloing, I'd really like to meet up with a group of like-minded, fun-loving players to really get the most out of the experience. I have a number of characters on Khyber, but would willing to start new ones on any other server if need be.

I've grouped with a lot of random folks lately with mixed results. A lot of people seemed to just rush through (zerg) and I found myself running to try and keep up. I'm looking for a group that likes to take their time and enjoy each quest/encounter. I'd like to find a group that is casual in game play as well...likes to have fun, cut up and is patient with a new guy possibly making a few boneheaded mistakes or asking a few goofy questions. I'm not really into PvP or raiding (yet). I'd just like to find a group of folks to relive the pen & paper RPG experience with.
I'm an adult, I have a full-time day job and a family...so those obviously come first. I usually have time to play on weeknights and occasionally on weekend afternoons.

XGC is a really casual guild. If your new to MMO's we can help you and show you the ropes. I have been playing DDO for a year. Everyone in the Xtreme Gamers Clan has been DDO for a while.
