Anyone out there build a cleric/necro/rouge with a 28pt build?
I want to be the healer of the party but also be able to solo and do the unlocks in stuff in game. A utility but one that can group with a tank.

Are you talking about a necromancy specced Cleric, a Pale Master Wizard, Necro specced Wiz?
Straight out of the box and with a 28 point build, I would advise against it, but I think we'd need to see more information before giving constructive ideas.

if your just gonna want healing from cler and rog for evasion just make a pale master WF wizard... repair!

for a 28 build necro necro spec'd clr... this is a bit much to chew on. Personally I would say wait for a 32 point build or go with the wf wizard w/ 2 lvls of rouge.
This is mostly due to the stat breakdown. If you want to be necro spec'd on a clr it is needed to have your wis at max for dc's, but to do traps and have some reflex save you would have to add alot of points into int as well as take insightful reflexes. This is mostly due to the fact that a clr has a bad reflex save. i say a high int mainly for the fact that at base int a clr receives only 2 points for skills each lvl. so to keep your search, dd, and ol (if you so choose) at max for your lvl, you would have to have a int of 14-18 (depending if tomes are available and if you wish to keep ol at max). That is a lot of points to use just for traps. All these points you put into int you would be taking out of con for the most part and gimp yourself due to the low hp and the one hit deaths you would suffer from high lvl mobs, not even counting raid bosses.
Now if you choose to make the caster version you would go wizard and max int. this would give you more points to play around with and would not be investing any points into a useless stat. So you can put points into con for hp.
Now as a wf caster you have the ability to heal yourself the same as a clr would be able to but by using repair spells, and as being a wizard you get free meta-magic feats to ensure you can tweak your toon how you see fit.
Now I am not saying the clr rouge is an unachievable mix, but for a 28 point build it would prove to be problematic to turn out how you desired at end game and be useful on all the accounts of finding traps, disabling said trap, opening locked doors, mass party healing, solo healing, good landing % for destruction, implosion, and slay living, and having the hp to enjoy playing said toon. so for the most part just view the divine spell of find traps as a tease till you have 32 point build and are willing to feel inept in some lvl ranges.
