Seems like the only ones lingering in the AH are well over 1mil plat, I'm not looking for that much... so could save you some money if you've been eyeing those.

From the looks of things this will cost around 1800 turbine points or $30 rl dollars (lesser is 900 points +1 is 1200 points so +2 will probably be 1500 etc.) , I don't think a mil platinum is off the mark, in fact if they hit the store at that price, I wouldn't be surprised to see them selling for much more...

Sorry to burst your bubble but the going price is 650k plat. The only time they were "actually" worth 1M plat was the very first day they were out. If you need plat look at the threads there are at least 3 people looking to buy.

Hold onto it Alhaz. Ive seen the prices drop drastically on the +3's, however there's no indication on how to get them after the birthday event is over. There's not even an answer as to if they will be in the DDO Store (that I know of). This tells me that in a months time, they will be worth a fortune.

1800 turbine points costs $29.99 so save monthly VIP points for 4 months or get ready to see plat prices for them well over a mil plat (a quick search shows a mil plat can be bought for less than $25).

I wish I had enough plat to buy these "going rate" 650kpp hearts because that's not going to be the going rate much longer (if it even is presently).

The point is, the going rate of 650k plat will increase come a few weeks from now when you can no longer get them in game. In fact, the ones purchased in the DDO store will be bound to account, or even character... so ones on the market that are freely traded will increase in rarity, thus in price as well.

I have two on Ghallanda that im trading away for 4 scales + 2 other larges. Will I get that price right now? absolutely not. Someone not in their right mind would trade me that amount of resources for a +3. In a couple weeks however, it may be worth that much.

If it saves someone either 3 weeks of LRing with +1's, or the weeks it would take to TR and level back to 20, or even spending $30 to purchase a +3 in the DDO store, someone with available mats from running shrouds will pay the price if you are one of the only persons left on the server with such an item.

Isn't judging how the market will accept such items fun!?!

The catch is +3 lessers aren't really valuable to many players aside from casuals that don't have the time/patience to true reincarnate or reroll, in order to fix crappy builds. People that *need* them don't have tons to offer.

For me, the +3's I traded for/collected were just to use as a substitute for buying lessers (to optimize for +4 tomes for toons I don't want to TR anytime soon).

FYI (assuming you're correct) before you nitpick, maybe realize the couple dollar difference between 1600 TP and 1800 TP is still not enough to drop the eventual value of these things down to half the cost of the turbine point.

If you want to sell yours for the equivelent of half the actual cash value knock yourself out, it will only drive the price of the few remaining freely tradable ones up.

That's because you're going by AH prices, which aren't always realistic.

buyouts I agree are usually pie in the sky but I've seen them bid over 1 mil which tells me there aren't enough people selling them for 650k to call it the going rate. It's just the rate some people were willing to sell for this past week. Next week who knows... there's a lot less people running the egg hunt, and there's no more after this weekend (that don't need to be purchased in the store). There's one newly listed with a starting bid of 700k 3 days left, interesting to see where that ends up

It hasn't been for sale since post 3 or 4? But you're right no one made an offer here, and the highest and only offer I got in game was 850k which I seriously considered.

I was trying to sell it to raise more money for recipe 5's, but I finally started getting the purple every jump and ended up not needing to. As is stands I ended up with 28 icy bursted weaps (most of the recipe were bought, I wasn't especially good at the jumps), and about twice that many frosted.

Anyway interesting discussion, I realize there are people who think that once a "going rate" stabilizes a little that it's that number forever after, but I don't agree and I'll leave it at that.

Well, i do agree that the price will go up, and if i had one for selling, i wouldnt sell it right now, because, at least for the people using the trading forums, the ongoing price is 650k, the price will go up, but slowly, wont jump to 1m from one day to the next, so thats the reason i wouldnt try to sell it now at 1m.
