    Default Healing the masses

Since I have had some issues with other clerics in the grouping healing very poorly but insisting that they use 'Heal, Mass':

Please please dear fellow clerics, don't use 'Mass Heal' it really is inferior to maximized cure light and cure moderate mass - given that you have a good potency item of course. Using these two spells - maybe a cure serious mass here and there - means that you will heal much more steadily and not only every few seconds for not much more than you get with maximized cures.

Healing in the shroud part 4 and 5 with mass heals = too strong hitpoint fluctuations resulting in ding ding ding.

learn to use it and you will like it
heal, mass is the most efficient spell in the game healingwise
its not useful everywhere but 2 clerics timing there massheals in the shroud not only heals all hp damage but also removes all deseases and poison from them too

Unless the bug has been fixed it only heals to 6 at a time, not something I would want clerics using if I was melee there. Unlucky 7 anyone?

that can be coordinated but doesnt mean the spell is useless, just buggy

I agree, it is far from useless, just not ideal in may situations. If you only have 6 in and 2 clerics that co-ordinate well no worries, it is also good between fights and is economical.

If you are having what seems to be a standard horrid lag part 4, then I would rather the clerics hit maximise and spam mass cures. Far more reliable.

When it's 'coordinated' how would you make sure that you hit alternating 6 out of 12 people? And even when you do, it would still mean that only one cleric heals a group of 6 at a given time.

From experience, running with 2 other clerics in the shroud who used only 'heal mass' in part4 and me assigned as the 'focus' healer, it was a very nasty surprise to see people's hp bars fluctuate like crazy and then ding ding ding before I could throw enough heals. Mass heal is slow as hell and the cool down is too long for efficient healing. With the 6 person bug on top (if it still exists) it is all but worthless for raid healing.

2 clerics, 2 arcane, 2 rangers (as in ranging, not the class), rest melee
then you only have 6 ppl which are affected and you have no problems

yes, i know, blasphemie, its not the optimal group setup, but wayne
