I think this post is full of win and good on ya for trying to set anything straight. I don't know exactly what the problem is that you're addressing, but mad props to you for coming in and trying to sort it out.

By the way, a little anecdote about Aten:
The first time I saw him in game, I have to admit that I was a little scared to approach him due to some of responses on the forums. I cold "/tell'ed" him in the marketplace because he had a similar class split to what I aspired to TR into and I wanted to ask him some questions about his experiences with the build- let me attest that he was the most polite person and really very generous with his time. He answered all my newbesque questions.

TYTYTY! OK, this has been a long time coming and I hate that it's getting crunched in here because I've been thinking of making a Phalaeo Appreciate Thread for some time now but this needs to be know - I think everyone will agree ..

I recently learned that you are not only new to DDO but also to D&D.

Yet every post of yours (except the one complimenting me) is full of insight and rational to this game, in teamwork, whathaveyou that is that of a seasoned pro far beyond your join date.

Truly, if there were a Best New Player Award it would easily go to you without so much as a fight.

I will point out this....when you make blanket statements regarding "hives" ect...you are going to annoy people that are in that circle of friends whether you intended to or not. You implicitly meant them as well. In this case, youre talking about a very LARGE hive on Argo.

Once again, you are missing the point. Just because people dont post doesnt mean they dont read. You obviously didnt get that when Rameses tried to tell you. We are a close group of friends, a very large one. ANYTHING you say here is conveyed in game through SEVERAL channels. We dont all belong to a single channel. Its more of a complex network of friends....kind of like bees.

This is what happens when you respond to something without knowing what you are talking about. Read the ENTIRE thread and you'll understand what happened. This incident prompted the apology, which is self serving.

Second, it is Aten that continually talks about the hive, not you. You completely missed the point.
