My Formal Apology

I wasn't saying that's what prompted the apology, I'm saying that could be the reason for the bad rep in game and in forums is keeping it going.

I look forward to seeing if you can let it go, ignore the drama and take it a bit lighter in humor.

One piece of advice my sister gave me - usually after calling me 'thunder cloud" to the thunder cats chant - probably just dated myself... anyway back to what I was saying.

Don't take yourself too seriously. You'll get more upset when people laugh at you if you can't laugh at yourself.

May you get what you give to the game, and I'll wait for the proof.

Board drama does not effect me but I can certainly understand if somebody is unable to separate the two. Real feelings can be hurt and that is not something everyone can just get over. I think I'm really just dead inside so I don't connect the two.

If you've grouped with me and really do not like me then that's not really something I can apologize for because that's the real me. (So no apologizes there)

But if we've never grouped together and you have decided you dislike me because of how I conduct myself on these boards then I truly am sorry and hope you will understand that I'm not on my best behavior.

If you need to judge a person, you can't "separate how I act on the forums with how I act in game". The person who post on forum and in game are the same person. If I was insulted on the forum unreasonably that makes me dislike him, I won't group with the person in game. But if I have an argument with anyone on the forum, I don't see any reason why I should not play with him in game as long as he is a good player and we won't bring the forum business to the game. In game grouping, I don't judge other players' personality, and I only judge their toons and playing style.

I don't really think there is anything you should apologize for. There will be people like or dislike you no matter what you say. if they like to drop group in game because you were in the group, there is nothing you can do, and an apology won't help unless you stop arguing with people on the forum.

The fun from the game is different from the forum. Admit it, we all like the drama on the forum! wait.. where is my popcorn...

There is a big difference between behaviour and opinion.

OP: I find your post refreshing. Maintain the high road. Everyone has their wakeup call. Glad you're expressing that. And no idea why tot n yourself have the line drawn, but as long as you set a standard from this day out, no one can fault you for walking that line in game and out. Just know it's your word and your conduct will be the only way to maintain that word from here on out. Take the high road and don't get snagged into dramatic incitation.

Aten obviously had a grouping experience he didn't like. Someone dropped when he joined. Conversation ensued.... the guy dropped because of who he was on the forum. I've Run with ALL of you.... and with the exception of Bill.... You guys ARE different in groups than you are on the Forums. (I'd say sorry Bill.... but I know that would offend you...). Heck... some of you are different for group to group.

If he really means the appolgy, let him prove it. If he doesn't back up his apology.... you get a TON of Forum material out of it.
