    Default Opions appreciated

I am considering building a 13rog/6Pal/1mnk Halfling Acrobat

I have access to 32 pt builds

I plan on eating a supreme +2 tome at lvl 7

I know that ability points will be stretched as well as enhancement points.

Is there anything I am overlooking that may make this toon completely gimped.

    Thanks in advance

Bah I know I misspelled Opinions in the title and I can't edit it :P

13rog/6fighter/1mnk or 13rog/6Monk/1fighter both offer better synergy with an acrobat build.

6 fighter gets you okayish damage boost and the option to go tactics, whilst going monk gets you improved quarterstaff attack speed with wind stance and the chance to get some decent AC.

Both are better choices then going 6 paladin IMO.

Pally offers some advantages over fighter (wands/scrolls/spells) and should not be underestimated, however fighter would help DPS more which you will need at higher levels. If you do not mind being "wheelchaired" at higher levels or being asked to act as a healer then it looks like a good build.

I've seen toons like this funtion very well in raids an high level content. You'll have a nice AC....but if you ever do EPIC your AC won't matter. If I were you man I would so Ranger.....get tempest. But really it depends on what you want to do with him......now is that one wishy washy response or what.....lol. Good Luck....been awhile since I've seen ya on....you been playin lots of alts?

    Paladin 6:
    Divine favor for +2 damage/swing
    Divine Might I for +2 damage/swing
    Divine sacrifice for~ 2.5-3 damage/swing
Bladesworn if WF for short term +6 damage/swing
KOTCI for +3.5 damage to EO/Undead(for now)
    saves
    immunities
    +melee hate clicky
    emergency healing lite
    mini aura
Sure you might need extend to make DF last long enough and DM might only be good for the beginning of fights.

    Ranger 6:
    Multishot
    +6 damage against FE

    Fighter 6:
    2 feats
    +3 damage/swing

    Monk 6:
    +1 damage/swing increased unarmed damage
higher tier windstance for ~3 damage/swing
higher tier elemental strikes for ~2 damage/swing

With the advent of ToD rings there are few reasons not to go unarmed...

    Default doh!!

It seems I forgot to add I intend to use halfling dragonmarks, it was late :P

This will tie up most of my feats

    FEATS, no particular order

    least
    lesser
    greater healing dragonmarks
    power attack
    dodge
    combat expertise
    2hf
    i2hf

Thanks everyone for your rapid, although conflicting, responses.

    additional comments welcome

ps Toombs You haven't seen me for a while because most of LoA moved to Cannith, not quite the same but still fun.

Oh, I think you need to ask yourself what is your character's primary strength. It doesn't seem to have a clear focus on AC, DPS, or healing/support.

I don't see good AC potential here. If you go THF, I assume you'll have a low Dex. In which case, don't take Dodge and Combat Expertise. As an Evasion Acrobat/Paladin in light armor and low Dex, I don't think you'll get the AC numbers you want.

Also, with THF you lose some of the DPS benefits of Paladin -- double benefit from DM, DF, double Smites and Sacrifices. And without Improved Crit, you damage is even further reduced.

The Dragonmarks then take up 3 of 8 total feats for decent but un-Empowered self-healing. This worries me, since you don't seem to have a solid defense or offense planned out either.

I really think you should add Dex and consider TWF, dropping the Dragonmarks for GTWF, Extend, and IC:whatever. But even if you don't, check out this 13/6/1 build called the Hurtlocker. Maybe that will give you some ideas on how to tweak more power and survivability into this! Otherwise, you may want to consider Fighter simply to get enough feats to do more damage, or for more Shield/Defender style options.

    Thanks for the reply

I see what you mean, and I have checked the hurtlocker build I was shooting more for http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=158960 but with pally forbetter healing and saves plus smites.

What about dropping the thf feats or dodge/ce for empowered healing and improved crit?

perhaps I am being a bit too ambitious

I guess I am trying more for flavor than utility but I dont want to build a complete waste just something functional...and unique
