    Default Me too

I've been trying since 7 and I'm stuck in the same place having already re-installed the launcher sometimes I get underlying connection errors but most of the time it just stays on "logging in"

None of the fixes listed for this error in the the KB have worked.

    Edit:

    and then I found this

You can also add the following line to your hosts file.

    74.201.102.13 gls.ddo.com

This gets me past the data centers message, but I'm still stuck at logging in

Looks like Turbine forgot to change their TTL on their DNS records a couple of days before this change....

Any other addresses we need... Like the logon servers IPs?

(Note: don't forget to remove that hosts entry tomorrow.. DNS should be fine by then, and you don't want to leave it there and forget about it when the next IP change comes along)

    Default This should do it.

    Flush DNS

    1. Close DDO client
    2. Start button. Run
    3. Type cmd
    4. Type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

    Edit Host File

    1. Open your HOSTS file with Notepad. Path is C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

    2. Add the two entries below to the end of the file:

    74.201.102.13 gls.ddo.com
    74.201.102.13 gls-auth.ddo.com

    3. Save the host file. THAT'S IT!

This may not fix everyone's problems, but please try this first!!!!
