I mean honestly, as if someone was going to rain fire and brimestone on the Broccoli headquarters....

And if you did, we'd all like a screenshot. And there's probably at least 1 sick individual that will want your address to come murder said rain and brimestoner because you torched the servers ie their characters and must extract your soul to pay homeage to Llolth in order to resurrect their characters per the Phoenix.

I've been playing this game for just over 3 years. For just about as long I keep saying "when will they learn to add the Scotty factor?". They need to learn how to schedule double the down time they think they need (or if they are doing that now and failing...quadruple) so that they either come up on time or early. Come on folks, learn to be miracle workers, not failures!

maybe they believe the same practice will yield different results? I mean Einstein did say that the definition of insanity was to do the same thing over and over while expecting different results.

by your example, they would have said the datacenter move was going to be 2 weeks long. OUCH!
