Lately I have been running shrouds collecting mats for my greensteel item on my monk. I am in a predicament. I cannot for the life of me decide what to craft. I have talked a good amount with guildmates about it but still cannot decide on what would be best.
My sad monk is here: http://my.ddo.com/character/ghallanda/zombqi/
My biggest issue is the greensteel slot.
I first thought about GS Min II helm, getting +5 prot, 2/day stoneskin clicky, 100% fort and +45 hp. My issue with this is, although I will be freeing up my cloak slot, I am essentially losing +20hp off of Minos and stoneskin is not going to do me a whole lot of good.
Guder and I talked about the GS helm and he suggested perhaps a concordant op hp item in the cloak slot instead. This will give HP regen, +6 wisdom, haggle, etc. That is a great idea considering there is hardly any loot that will replace that slot, and will use less mats. But, I will be planning on using my ring slot from ToD for +6 wis, so this seems like a bit of a waste as well.
Then, I had the idea of crafting a GS Aspect of Radiance II belt for +45 hp, 4d6 damage proc + blindness. Then out goes the idea of Knost's Belt (GFL) and an epic grind for GFL on an augmented slot on Spectral Gloves...
I still cannot decide. Hopefully someone here will help me correct any errors I may've made in GS planning...or help me with deciding what is ultimately best for my build.
Thanks,
