I may have thought of a build that is worthy enough to post here.

If i wanted a paladin/cleric that could nuke and dps, would it be possible? does such a build exists?

You won't be able to nuke *and* dps. If you want to nuke that means you need massive wisdom so your dc's and sp's are high, and at least 17 cleric lvls so you have acces to lvl 9 spells so you can heighten to get the highest possible dc (and if necessary empower + maximize for the highest possible damage). But all of that is incompatible with dps.

Paladin dps requires 18 or 20 paladin lvls. That precludes the possibility of nuking.

So a bit of a catch 22 there.

ah... so is there any way to create a paladin/cleric with both good melee and spells?

cleric17/fighter1/monk2 or even cleric18/paladin2 can give you a good melee character with good instant-kill spells from cleric

Just go FvS lord of the blades route. And self buff. You will out-DPS a lotta PLDs (for a while) and have a ton of SP and access to the nice spells.

Or you can go Elf or Drow or Human route. But I think you would like a melee-spec Favored Soul

Paladin/Cleric is not a good combo, unless you go mostly cleric with just a splash of paladin (1 to 3 levels), whose focus would be either on melee (with lesser spell offense, 1 to 3 levels of pally) or on spells (with lesser melee offense, only 1 level of pally).
