Basic idea is barb 16 cleric 4 for ameliorating strike+blood strength.

enhs would be

22 WP for AS and divine might
36 ravager for blood strength crit rage and uncanny balance
22 to mess around with, I was thinking OS for blank thoughts.

Not sure if THF for pure DPS for SWF for more hits for blood strength's heals would be better, can you swf with a bsword/daxe and get glancing blows?

main stats would be str con and cha (cha for divine might)

idk just had this idea & wanted to throw it out to you guys

Yes, however you can't take both the SWF and THF feat chains, so initially you can only get the base 20% glancing blows. If you use FotW, Unbridled Fury will auto-grant the THF feats while active; AFAIK, the glancing blow dmg will stack w/GSWF, but haven't tested to confirm.

For proc-on-hit effects like Blood Strength, TWF is usually best; more hits means more chances to proc, after all. [Too bad you can't have Blood Str + Dance of Death!] And for Ameliorating Strike, TWF is definitely best, since AS can proc on both mainhand & offhand atks.

if twf is my best bet, should i go a few levels in ranger to help with the feats? it would hurt blood strengths effectiveness, but I think the sheer amount of self healing i'd have would make up for it.

Pre-U24, one of the more interesting barb options was barb 12 / cleric or FvS 4 (Ameliorating Strike) / rgr or rog 4 (depending on whether you wanted extra feats or trap skills). It's still a doable combo, but TBH Blood Str is good enough to meet most of your self-healing needs; and you give up a lot of DPS by not having Death Frenzy + Storm's Eye.

Still, it should be a straight-forward build:

• barb 12 / cleric 4 / rgr 4
• Stats: STR & CHA primary, enough DEX to hit 17 for ITWF/GTWF, rest in CON
• Feats: Power Atk, PBS, Cleave, GC, ITWF, Manyshot, GTWF, Imp Crit:Ranged & Melee, OC, maybe IPS if your DEX is high enough
• Enhancements: 36 APs Ravager (Blood Str + Crit Rage), 22 APs Warpriest (Ameliorating Strike), 6 APs Tempest (core enhs for +10% offhand), leaves 16 APs for whatever

You want to be a REAL junkie? Of course you want! Let me propose you this friend:
Go 12 barb / 4 cleric / 4 bard. Yes bard! Go SWF, pick up that orb for devotion, spend your 22 APs to get sustaining song from Spellslinger. You heal when you kill you heal when you hit you heal when you sit nothing will ever stop you (besides a well placed champ crit).

* Few bard past lives and a way to regenerate songs recommended. Bonus points if you get UMD & wand and scroll mastery xD
* Could go more bard less barb for songs / duration
* Can go full cha based with 18 starting str if you want more SP to throw some SS SLA

Amusing concept. But 36 APs Ravager + 22 APs Warpriest + 22 APs Spellsinger = 80, meaning there's nothing left over for Swashbuckler, which is the main incentive for SWF+bard. Might as well stick with TWF for the extra AS procs.

truly self healing Barb

Level 28 Neutral Good Drow Male
(2 Fighter \ 12 Barbarian \ 6 Cleric \ 8 Epic)
This build is on my thread "Kent's custom builds"
Worked really well but I think when I played through got rid of pos burst and spent points elsewhere found healing form it was to low and not really needed :}
