I failed so hard, I lol'ed.

I tried to solo Reaver's Fate on hard a few minutes ago with my level 20 monk.
The fighting was easy... but when I got to the puzzle, I couldn't get the elementals to move away from the switches, and couldn't click the darn things! Or, for that matter, even mouse over them and use the keyboard to activate. So, I have to start killing them... I do so, then have time to put in two combinations before it goes boom. =)

I'm chalking this one up to bad luck, and got a good laugh out of it.

Oh yeah, that's probably doable now that air elementals are wussified...I'll have to try that now too...

It's actually pretty easy. I've done normal and hard so far without needing any consumables. I don't really expect elite to be any different. If you get to the other side of the room from the Stormreaver, he de-aggros until you come close again, and you can heal with Wholeness of Body.

hey, maybe you wanna try using backspace button to focus the lever. then click the image in the orb and it should work.

I'm just slow. I do worse with a solver than by hand, too. /fail

My only problem with the Backspace is that I'm afraid it'll select the wrong skull, causing me more work to reset it once I realize what happened.

I just press my strafe buttons to get a different angle on the skulls, until I get a gear icon for my mouse.

An easy way not to fail is also to not have the chatbox selected when you want to run.

Go to options>UI Settings and uncheck combat takes precedence over non-combat, I unchecked this a LONG time ago to be able to pick up stones and do stuff during combat.
