Premium status will expire in 45 days?

I just read a post by 404 that says that premium status expires in 45 days if you don't buy more TP bundles. I certainly hope this is wrong, but does any one here know. The post is burred in a server sub-forum and may not be seen by many, so I'm re-posting it here so maybe some one who knows can answer.

No is is just wrong that premium status wears off.

The ONLY thing that has a timer is the CUSTOMER SERVICE. 45 days after you purchase any amount of point you will be treated the SAME as any VIP when talking to customer service. Probably most Premium didnt even know this.


And you will loose NOTHING of Character slots, AH trading and so on.

It is in no way important if you were VIP or not before you go Premium, except maybe the customer service.

A friend of mine who loggend on yesterday who hadn't played for at least 2 months (> 45 days) and he still had all his stuff and slots and so on.

The 45 days things refers to Customer Support from Turbine. F2P don't get any. Premium get it for the first 45 days after they purchase a point pack. While VIP have it as long as they are VIP.

If that is true all it really does is give another good reason to go VIP for only 1 month.

Didn't mean to "do a drama". I don't have a character on Thelanis and so I probably would not have seen it if it had not appeared as a recently responded to thread on the main forum page. It was a post made by someone from QA who said they were not sure. This is something that impacts many players in the game, so I re-posted it here to make sure others saw it and so that someone more knowledgeable than I could either confirm or deny it. To paraphrase Freud some times a post is just a post.
