No internet connection at installing DDOstandard

I downloaded the installer for standard resolution, when I Use it, there is an error "No internet connecivity detected", But my internet works fine, what happens?, thank you

"No internet connectivity detected. Please reconnect and try again."
the previous person's question never got solved, what is the solution to this ?

I tried to direct connect and bypass my router, also turned off the windows Vista firewall, then i verified a good internet connection was working before trying the program - to no avail, same error occurs.
I do not use any 3rd party firewall or antivirus ie:Norton or McAfee

also, what kind of kids wrote their error messages? obviously there is active internet connection despite what the error says - some programmer just decided to be generic and not write an actual error description
