    Default WF advice

Hey, I'm about to get started on my WF sorc and just wanted to know if 20con 16cha is a bad idea.

At lvl 20 it should have 220 base hit points which is about double what my drow has at 20.

I'm finding INT and UMD hard to justify because on my drow, 99% of UMD's usefulness is just for healing myself which is not needed for a WF. I have a few rings of ancestors to cover resing.

Even though my drow only has 8 strength, I only occasionally run into problems with carrying capacity.

personally i have always gone 12 str 18 con 10 int 16 cha on my wf sorcs. but your reasons are sound enough (for you) to go 20con 16 cha.

for a WF SOR that sounds great. And the ring of ancestor is a good item to have if you lack the UMD.

Though what you said about the HP...about your Drow...is he even playable at lvl 20 with the 110 HP? Also dont forget WF CON enhancements and toughness enhancements (if you can fit toughness in)

I think you will really enjoy your new SOR btw. You going CC, necro or evocation build or generalist?

UMD is usful for other things as well (such as bypassing item requierments), as a compromize I would suggest that you get a +2 int tome at level 7 and put the extra skill points in umd from level 8 and on.

I might be wrong about the base hp's on my drow. She has 220 with a +6 item and a GFL item. I don't know what I was thinking when I built her, but she's definately playable.

This one will be for evocation as the other one's necro. High HP, some DR and lots of clouds, fw and stuff should work ok...hopefully.
