    Default Non-Ranger Elf Arcane Archer?

Need affirmation: can a level 20 Elf with NO ranger levels take all three tiers of Arcane Archer and all tiers of the imbue arrows enhancements? Assuming they have all the required feats...

Arcane Archer isn't three tiers, but yes.

The first Enhancement in the Slaying Arrow Link shows the Elf requirement, the second shows the Ranger requirements.

The release notes threw me. Tolero mentions Arcane Archer II and III.

    http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Relea...w_Enhancements

    New Enhancements
    ■Arcane Archer: Imbue Acid Arrows
    ■Cost: 1 Action Point
■Prerequisite: Elf or Ranger Arcane Archer II, 30 (or 38 for Elves) Action Points Spent
■Effect: Imbues all missiles that you fire with acid, granting them the Corrosive ability (+1d6 Acid damage) and dealing acid damage over time if your arrow damages your target. This ability costs 20 spell points to activate, and triggers a lengthy cooldown of the Melf's Acid Arrow spell. Only one Arcane Archer Imbue ability may be active at any time.
    ■Arcane Archer: Imbue Explosive Arrows
    ■Cost: 1 Action Point
■Prerequisite: Elf or Ranger Arcane Archer III, 42 (or 50 for Elves) Action Points Spent

My elf wizard is an Arcane Archer, no ranger levels at all.

Yes, but you need the ability to cast spells....Spell Points.

So Ftr 20 is not possible.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

I did Fighter 18/Bard 1/Ranger 1 for my Elven Arcane Archer.

Bard for SP, Ranger for free Bow Strength and Fighter 18 for Kensei 3. Still leveling her up (only level 7 right now)...but she tore through Delera's at level 6. It was epic.

(Incidentally, the Ghostly Skeletons only have DR/Good...so a Silver Bow will eat them up.)

I have considered F18/C1/W1, with stats of 10 in Wis and Int. No spell casting abilities really, just the ability to use wands and scrolls.

1 Bard would get you the spell casting ability you'd need, plus UMD so you can use all the wands anyway.

Then you could take a level of Rogue for some sneak attack, or Ranger for a free feat.

ftr20 AA is possible, you just need the sorc past life feat

note: you cant use any of the imbues as you wont have any sp, but its possible

Hmm...I may go with that. How is it on SP? Is there enough? More than enough?

Going with C1/Wiz1 and Wis/Int of 10, at 20 I ended up with 325. How does that compare?
