Default Review my item layout for a FvS warforged

    Hi everyone,
First time posting, long time reader

Looking thru the forums for Fvs builds, I like the idea of building a warforged fvs that a few ppl posted on here which have 13-15DR. this build is similar to ones posted by Mellkor, themetal and so forth. I plan on reincarnating my pally into one (for the extra healing amp) and being a careful planner I would like to know what gear would be optimal for the build. After reading hours over all the non-epic loots available, the following is the loadout i felt was the best and most efficient:

    Head: Minos Legens (heavy fort)
Neclace: Torin choker (sup potency VI, wiz VI)
    Bauble: Bloodstone (seeker)
    Cloak: +5 resistance
Ring: ToD ring (Either warchanter or kyrion: +6 charis +1 exceptional str, upgrade with +2 except str)
Ring: Ring of balance from Invasion?
Gloves: Spectral gloves (+5dex, +2 hit)
    Boots: Striding 30%
Bracers: Leviks (+6 str 20%heal amp)
Armor: Quorforged docent (+7 armor, con +6, toughness, sup false life +40)
Goggles: Greensteel perma blur: +10 hp +1 dex skill, +1 reflex, +2 reflex: With Alchemical +1 resis ritual
Weapon: Greensteel greatsword Min2: Holy, +1 exceptional con, +2 excep con: With Force Crit ritual
Belt: Greensteel concord opposition: Lesser regen, +15hp +2str skills, +2 will saves

I'm not sure about the greensteel selections
Belt concord should i do SP instead of the hp and willsave?
Goggles should i do +20 hp +3 dex skills instead +2 reflex?
Rings: 1 tod and what of the other? ring of balance?

Defensive mode: Leviks shield or shield of light and darkness?

With this loot loadout it seems i'll have +6 to all stats except Int, Exceptional str +1 and +2, Exceptional con +1 and +2, Reflex save +1 and +2, will save +2, superior false life, toughness, heavy fort.

I would eventually take out minos helm for a greensteel heavy fort item but this would be low on priority.

Any advice/opinions would be much appreciated. I dont' think anything overlaps in terms of bonuses but if there is please let me know. =)
I plan on collecting as much as i can before i reincarnate.
Also i did not really look over the epic loot so i don't know if that would change my build... but i imagine epic loot must take a long time to farm and dont' know if it'll be a good idea to plan that much in advance. Though epic spectral gloves and epic bloodstone won't change anything in this build.

DT docent is much better than the quari forged; downside being that DT can be much harder to get.

with the DR you should really consider using the torq in the neck slot, which means you need potency somewhere else: several different helms work, or the sov. slot on the DT armor.

i dont like leviks on any of my characters, grab the healing amp on the DT armor; use the bracer slot for the vod bracers or dq bracers, works well with the dr as well ( you reduce all damage by 15 and have a 30% chance to proc 30 HP, con OP can double proc with this as well, its really cool getting 60 temporary HP)

litany boosts alot of things you'll need on the Fvs, casting stats, more HP, more damage, more to hit. extra str and combat bonus helps on the PA heavy WF

nothing stops you from wearing 2 ToD rings (aside from more grinding) archmage/FB/Ravager/shintao all give nice benefits

    spectral gloves/vod gloves/ shroud gloves

striding 30% preferred stat on the boots, titan boots will give balance too

tharnes goggles or epic spirit sight

greensteel GS with +2 wisdom or the SoS

belt should really be one of the tower sets.

I like to switch between the napkin and zephyr for the cloak slot

not too sure i agree on goggles being tharne. I don't need tru sight and having displacement and perma blur goggles seem very useful especially for soloing. I don't think i'll be pickin up UMD with this character

Also +2 wis on sword? I'm not too sure either. This build is base wisdom 6 so it's all about self buff with bladebarrier being save but still damaging. I'm not sure if +2 con is much better either though since it's 20hp only

for soloing a wisdom build is quite a bit easier, and for general group questing its much better as well

downside is in epic content; to hit will be to low to matter (atleast with WF PA which is useful everywhere else) and your offensive spells will be just as bad. In epic the str build is more capable.

displacement and permenant blur arent too useful (atleast not in solo play) when you hit the cap. As your DR provides sufficient protection; and concealment prevents your spell points from regening from the torq or con op items.

in a party the extra 8 damage and 5 to hit is a significant increase in damage. and if you're the person with the aggro, then somethings wrong with your group, as FvS are nowhere near DPS kings. (altho tharnes is almost pointless in solo play aside from being perma TS)

just seems a waste of ingredients and potential to craft a blur/displacement item on a character with permanent 15 DR. At that point you WANT enemies to hit you. With the right items you have near limitless HP and SP regen. In solo content my WF FvS is in more danger of dieing from self inflicted negative levels than from HP loss. (then its just a greater restore scroll and all fixed)

if you're a dump wisdom build then I'd swap a few things around

+2 con on the sword, the ToD rings should have +2 str and devotion (cause you dont need potency with that wisdom)

GS cloak would be first greensteel accessory, since you'd have no real reason for the napkin

Not sure why you are investing so much in exceptional reflex saves. I'd take HP or SP on those greensteel slots. The two elemental spellpoints are +300 SP on a FvS. That's not something you voluntarily skip.

Thanks for the suggestions so far

So what i can make out so far is do tharnes for goggles
Go for Sp with the greensteal items
If i get greensteel concordant cloak... do i need another greensteel clothing item? i don't know what combination i'll need... a heavy fort helmet is possible but minos has that so seems only minor improvment for 5 large devil scales isn't high on my priority

What item should i get with a belt then? a tod belt? which one though is the best?
