eh, tbh, there's butthurt on both sides. but this will be over in a couple of months once people are regularly running epic dragon raids (and concurrent, epic vons since you need to get shards... trickle down)

i think epics will be run a lot more now that there is a very good payout for dragon relative to running dq epic (which is more pots). it comes down to two resources: time and pots. time is in abundance for some, not for me, which is why i didn't bother with epics originally because there's nothing in there. pots are a rarity for some, which is why epic dq raid wasn't really run

the smaller quests are fine and all but i don't think there was anything extremely attractive in there before. now that red dragon scale and epic sos are in play, there are def. objectives to accomplish for people

so take that however you will, just don't try to make it into am vs. epic channel cause it's not. it's just bill oreos on a crusade. am is generally diverse and you know as well as i do that everyone pretty much does anything they **** please in there, epics, abbots, TR be damned. it's not that they're ignoring EPICS specifically but all pursuing their own agendas, which is what it's there for

oh and i made fun of epics because it was a waste of time from a healer's standpoint, plus it was more selfish than that, there wasn't much of a payout i could see pursuing out of all the dq epics (for anyone)... sure if you don't wanna tr then it's something to run but i saw tr as a much bigger draw. hell even abbot was a bigger draw

Im not saying that it isnt great that you have beaten the shroud or tod on elite, or that it isnt fun to do the dragon on epic, but seriously why do people insist on posting them here on argo.

I checked on some of the other servers and I didnt see them having this issue. Aside from the fact that posts like those should be in the achievements section, they do nothing but make Argo look noobish in the fact that people post pics and pat themselves on the backs for beating raids on elite that were completed almost 2 years ago on elite (shroud) and 6 months ago on elite (TOD on the test server).

I would like to say congrats now once and for all and hope that in the future, unless you are the first to beat a raid on epic or elite that you would post your favorite screenies on your own guild site.

BTW there has been an "EPIC channel for 3 years, it started on Mabar then got transfered to Argo in the server merge. There is no password, it doesnt need one, b/c mmbership was limited

I dont know why people post these types of things at all. OK so you beat a quest on epic or raid on elite. LOL good for you. I think people tend to blend real life with this game after a while and forget this is just a video game. But they seem to think its one of lifes great accomplishements to do an epic VON and post it on a forum........lol

As a guilty poster of some screenshots I took for some raids I was happy to complete on my healer.

Perhaps it does look noobish to some twinked veterns that were completing raids before I even started playing this game. Thats not really the point, these are screenshots of players from several guilds coming together to complete some high level stuff that I was quite happy to be part of. We had fun doing it and I didn't see a better place to post it, perhaps a subcategory within the guild section or in the acheivements section may be a better place to post, who knows..

To you and the upper eschelon of uber players its all... been there done that... but it is an achievement I was happy to reach and deemed it worthy of posting..

I don't play on any other servers so I can't attest to why anyone else isn't posting screenshots, but I would wecome seeing others post their successes.

If I were you and I was excited by a special completion I would personally post it on my guilds own forum that we have through guild portal. However, my point is that all of the screenshots you posted while they may be a huge deal to you have been previously accomplished often by many on this server. What would you think of Argo if all the newer people posted screenshots everytime they were able to beat water works on elite for the first time, or tempest spine? Well to be fair TOD Elite, Velah Epic and Shroud Elite are not the same as WW, STK or TS, but I appreciate the response and I will try to curb my enthusiasm but if I ever get that elite Abbot you are gonna see screen pics!!!

I am barely able to get my pic's on these forums let alone get myself setup on a guild portal but give me time, I'll figure it out.
