    Default Greensteel goggle sanity check

I'm crafting my first greensteel item for my cleric. I have it mapped out but wanted to make sure my assumptions are correct:

    1. Goggle seems to be the slot of choice for a pure cleric, as there is no other obvious high-end named loot for that slot.

    2. The main goal for the first GS item, for a cleric, is exceptional spell points

    3. "Concordant Opposition" is the most recommended tier 3 ability for a cleric.

    4. While I could make a +150 exceptional spell point item that also included Wizardry VI, the Wizardry VI part would not stack with another item (say Lorikk's Necklace) that also had Wizardry VI - so if I plan on having Lorikk's Necklace someday, putting Wizardry VI on my goggles would be a waste.

All of which is leading me towards (neg) Blindness Immunity/Disease Immunity, (pos) +50 spell points Existential Stalemate, (pos) +100 spell points Concordant Opposition. Am I missing anything?

    Sounds pretty sane to me.

Dis/Blindness imunity is the way to go...
10 hp not all that bad either if u have dis gfl item but I prefer the imunitys on my gs it open up slots for more raid gear.

Just wanted to make sure you know that Concordant Opposition results from the combination of a Neg and Pos shard in the 3rd altar...

Presently that is indeed the best choice for any cleric that never or almost never melees.

You may not end up ever wearing Lorikk's, however - the Warchanter set from Amrath is probably a better use of your necklace slot. (Sup Pot 6, Wizardry 6, +2 exceptional stat of your choice, -4 SP to Maximize Spell, -1 SP to Extend Spell, random other minor bonuses like +6 Cha, +1 exceptional Str)
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

I have a cleric I TR-ed into a FvS (Cleqansoul build in sig). I made con-op mana goggles a while ago, and now regret it as it conflicts with Tharnes Goggles from VoD. Even a pure 20th cleric with 12-14 starting strength can do viable melee damage on slayer/normal/hard and some elite quests. There are times when BB is not optimal, and neither is standing around waiting to heal.

In hindsight, I wish I had crafted in another slot, gloves most likely, and will probably make a second set eventually.

Is 5 sneak attack damage really helping you out ? It only works when you dont have aggro right so no good for solo and i cant imagine when else you'd be doing much mele that is really helping. The glove spot you might want to save for the glacial assault gloves also from VOD. If you have to have tharns I would go with a cloak, but i use the goggle spot myself.

I usually go 10 HP, 150 SP with earth ele clickies. Now that that's been nerfed, I do the same but with stoneskin clickies. I don't really see the point of building immunity to things that can be removed with a heal spell/scroll. Just my 2 cp.
There is no lag. Just because you had none before and can't play now doesn't mean the server move had anything to do with it.

It's +5 to hit and +8 damage. It works when you don't have aggro, but also on blinded creatures. My FvS uses a Radiance2 scimitar (in my experience the best shroud effect when considering offense+defense), so he gets +8 to damage almost right away when meleeing anything short of a red/purple.

I have the VoD gloves, but don't use them. Mana is not an issue once you have the Torc and a Con-Op item. In the gloves slot I use Spectral Gloves, and will upgrade those to epic at some point. More slots please!
