Soloing and Elf Dragon mark

My FvS is 2monk/8FvS at the moment. Will be 2/18. My primary goal is to solo things that others tremble in fear over. I also want to be an asset in a party, more of a combat medic picking up some slack for the real healers. Would taking the mark of shadow giving me diplacement be helpful or detrimental?

Not sure what your exact goals are as nothing in the game makes me "Tremble in fear"...

A FvS can get their UMD pretty high. You should have no trouble UMDing Displacement and Invis scrolls. no reason to take the marks.

I didn't even consider UMD. Since I have 2 skill points per level and umd is not a class skill I could get 10 ranks into it if I dump it all in there. Do you think that will be high enough?

Depends on your CHR score. Get a +2 INT TOme and you should be able to cap it out at 11.

4 19 CHR (Minimum require to cast all FvS Spells)
1 Voice of the master

A Little more CHR and a Shroud item get you into the 30's

Putting Level up points into CHR would be a pretty substantial mistake.

Play it out, and do a Lesser reincarnation to fix it later....

You will find that once you hit level 14 on that build you will have significantly less use for all that STR.

Oh Impaqt, You just answered so many of my questions with that link. For what it's worth +1 rep to you sir.
Now, I've found that using handwraps is the fastest way to kill things even with all of the valenar enhancements. I'm assuming that this will change in the next 4-6 levels. As far as this first round goes, would I be best suited to put the remaining 3 level ups into Wis. since you say that the str will not matter too much soon?
