Request: DDO Store -> Loot

I'm just going to toss this out there Turbine... I'd really, really like to see anything that available for purchase in the DDO store be added to the loot tables.

I have a couple of reasons for this...

1) The loot tables could really use some loving. It would be super to see new and different things looted.
2) Items appearing in the DDO Store, available for $$$ only *feel* a bit... dirty. I won't say more than that.

Now, please, I am not asking for these things to be frequent drops. I'd be perfectly happy if they were extremely rare drops. And bound as well, would be fine. But if every once in a blue moon someone were to pull a LR heart or, heack, a box of chocolates, I think that would be great and really make the store *feel* a little less ominous.

This is my major complaint with the ddo store atm. I certainly would prefer to be able to loot a huge collectible bag, gift passes, and even adventure packs! Seriously, that would be ingenious marketing for them. Even with super low drop rates having some free to play guy spamming general chat in korthos with "I just pulled STK from a chest!".

Turbine is a business; They need to make money in order to operate. The ddo store needs exclusive loot to make that happen, or there wont be a ddo store. Last time I checked you do get turbine points when you gain favor, so although you may not loot stk from a chest, you can buy it without spending a dime, yeah?

Much like the leveling sigils before they were removed. rare to get (at least gold and platinum), but still possible...

I don't think he was talking about guest passes or adventure packs. That would be silly. I think he was referring to things that are either fluff (like hairstyles) or the Lesser Reincarnation Heart.

I totally agree with being able to loot Huge Bags, or add them to the Epic Token turn-in, but looting a quest unlock would just be business suicide...

Why is it only x-mas do we get something holiday themed from chests?? It would be nice to have festival style stuff year round!
