Well here we go... I'm sure you all have a lot of practice by now making stuff go boom.

Here are a few more tips that may help you fine-tune your sorcerer.

1st. DPS! Spamming your best spell is not the most damage you can do, it is the most mana efficient damage you can do. So remember that if you need to do damage per second, rotate between your 2 best spells. This is usually important during fights that have a respawn timer or when your party is starting to wipe.

2nd. Setting up for cone of cold. Normally you run in a circle to herd up the bad guys to catch them all in your fireball or delayed blast fireball. A cone spell works differently. You need to herd them up like you usually do but then back up a little so the herd stretches into cone shape or a line.

3rd. Dropping a wall of fire, then running around it has been popular with sorcs since level 8. Sadly if you have something in a wall, dropping a 2nd one will not increase the damage. Only 1 of the 2 will actually keep ticking. To get it working, you need to run them through it. Jumping while casting spells (like firewall) is done so you slow down as little as possible while kiting bad guys.
Also, one or more firewalls in place where a monster spawns, or NPC turns hostile will give you extra initial ticks.

Here is a short vid to give you some kinda visual for those.
