    Default Past Life feats?

Is the non-passive feat worth taking?

Past Life: Disciple of the Fist
You recall more about your past life as a monk. You have +2 to your Concentration skill, deal increased unarmed damage (one step higher than normal on the unarmed combat chart), and can enter an evasive trance once per rest, granting the evasion feat for a short period of time. (When you make a successful Reflex save to avoid damage, you suffer no damage instead of half damage.)

if you are a pure unarmed monk it will increase your damage from 2d20 to 2d12, so yes

If you are a monk taking the monk past-life feat? Most definitely.

It's like twinking your new monk with your old monk's fists... handed down from beyond the grave.

While the feat certainly helps in the leveling process, at level 20 you only gain a minimal amount of damage as a result of the increase in fist base damage, so you can think about dropping the past life feat for another without gimping your character.

Honestly, I would stick with it. Monks do get more feats than most, and who doesn't want an additional 1.5 damage per hit?

Take two monk past life feats and get 2d20 see that would be a nice help to the monks

Its an average increase of 2 dmg per hit. 2d10 avgs at 11 vs 13 for 2d12.
