What stats are important? I started with str and wis. Then I was told that dex and wis with weapon finesse was better. But it seems I do no damage. Also what is wis for? Thanks for the help in advance.

You need at least 18 dex to get the fourth tier of windstance which is what you should be in pretty much all the time. Dex is also for the TWF line of feats, which unless you are a nontraditional staff monk you will want. Wisdom and dex are both for AC and Wisdom is also for the DC on your abilities. You want at least 13 strength for power attack, but it also is important for damage even with weapon finesse since that only makes dex a to hit modifier not a damage modifier.

Also: concentration is your friend. Get the highest concentration item you can aswell as keeping it maxed out in skill points. The minimum Ki you can have (lowest it will go when you're not spending it) is equal to your concentration, and it starts to degrade faster than -1 per tick at double that. Though I wouldn't bother using any feats to boost your concentration unless you really can't think of a better use for the feat.

Your wisdom affects the maximum Ki you can carry as well as what Impatiens mentioned.
