    Default 18FvS/2Monk, PA or GTWF?

So, I am working on a 18FvS/2Monk build, Elven, with Undying Court.

The reason I want the 2 monk is mainly for the feats (although I admit the ability to wear cloth with a good FvS wis bonus will be nice)

I know that I am giving up +2 dmg per hit from the splash, but I really can't figure out how to get what I want with only 7 feats.

With nine feats, using one for toughness, and splitting the other 8 between melee and casting, I end up with:

    General:
    Toughness

    Caster:
    Maximize
    Empower Healing
    Quicken
    Heighten

    Melee:
    TWF
    OTWF
    ITWF
    ??

Do you think it would be better to have PA (to be used with Divine Favor/Power to keep to hit high), or GTWF, to increase my attack speed? Or, do you think there is another feat I could drop without gimpiing myself to take both?

    Just looking for some input.

    Thanks!

I would drop OTWF and take GTWF & IC:slash, then swap IC for PA when you get mins.

So, you think my BaB bonus will be high enough from divine favor/power to drop OTWF, and then once I have mineral scimis drop the IC slash for PA?

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea, I'll think on it, ty.

What visty said. Drop OSTWF for GTWF.

Also while you're at it drop empower healing and pick up empower instead. Empower will work on your blade barriers and with your pool of mana you shouldn't need the extra 5sp savings from using empower healing over empower. (I know empower doens't effect heal or mass heal but still I find empower healing unnecessary.)

So maximize and empower don't work on heal at all? I thought they just didn't work on mass heal.

mass heal is the same as mass, just hits more targets

So.... The consensus seams to be...

    General:
    Toughness

    Caster:
    Maximize
    Empower
    Quicken
    Heighten

    Melee:
    TWF
    ITWF
    GTWF
IC; Slash (Swap out for PA with mineral weapons)

Thank you all for the input, any other suggestions?

    Attack Bonus:
    20 BAB
    5 Weapon
    4 GH
    1 Haste
    3 DF
5 Str? (You probably have more than that, but I don't know your build, so...)
1 Follower of the Undying Court
    2 Elf Enhancements
    2 Recitation
    -4 TWF
    -5 PA
    +33/+33/+38/+43 Self-buffed

Toss in Bardsongs and Improved Destruction, and you'll hit 50 AC on a 2 with your first swing. Assuming the primary melees have aggro, you'll get another +2 flanking bonus to hit a 52 AC on a 2, first swing. You might need to turn off PA against some epic monsters.

In other words... there's no reason to have OTWF. Take GTWF and PA instead.
