Epic Fighter Gear

I am interested in seeing what people would wear/use especially in light of the new red dragon armor and other epic gear on a fighter...

Here is what I think... Suggestions?

Head: Red dragon helm (add +4 resist to it)
Goggles: Tharnes
Trinket: Epic Bloodstone
Necklace: Kensai
Belt: Frenzied Berserker
Ring 1: Kensai
Ring 2: Frenzied Berserker
Armor 1: Red Dragon: Currently 3 guards/ flaming burst/2 slots/?.
Armor 2:+5 resist/20% healing amp/earthen guard
Cloak: mineral 2 +45 hp/heavy fortification.
Bracer:?
Gloves: Concord OPP with two Negative shroud immunities on it.
Boots: Madstone,Anchoring,etc.

Marilith Chain and Litany. -1 to hit, saves, skills and -5 hp is a "who cares" penalty for what they give.

edit: There's no UMD check on litany and I'm fairly certain there's no umd check on marilith chain.

hmm.. was not aware of it.. Just goes to show how much I love the abbot raid lol. My guess is the red dragon armor will be better at least on targets that are not fire immune/resist then the marilith.

Edit: a longer term plan is to make epic red dragon armor and epic white or blue so I can swap to those when the target is immune to fire.

I was thinking of the spectral gloves, that +7 dex will free up 6 enhancement points for me and the item seems to allow a +6 stat on it...for my fighter a +6 charisma item would free a valuable equipment slot.

not sure about anything else..

The epic spectral gloves are very nice, but they are not necessary on a fighter with the fighter's real high to hit. I could definitely understand why an intimidate fighter would want the cha item.

I am really not sure either although I was hoping there would be more debate and even gear postings somewhere. Some fighters I know on my server want the belt of moranon over the FB set because it will free up slots. I am not really sure why a fighter would want to have more slots freed up at the present time, but it could be benificial in the future. The litany of the dead with Mentau goggles or Marilith chain and sneak attack gloves/bracers is another gear concept. Anyway was curious what other fighters are doing..

I just want it as it seems to be the one spot where I could not only put two stats in, but gain an even higher dex while also getting a +4 to hit (making it not so bad with power attack or CE on).

Gear dependency means lots of stuff on one item..salivating for that one...but I dunno..a ton of runs of the quests to maybe find it...a ton of epic running to maybe get the items and tokens...could be next year before I get it ...
and that is assuming running it weekly for that whole year....lol


The loot thread lists a lot of the upgrades as does the ddowiki including the augment slot.
At 20th level, gear slots can be hard to come by depending on what you do. There is never enough and that one real cool thing could blow your whole build..lol

There are lots of items I would like to wear, but my build would suffer for it...sigh.

Give me a sword of shadows though...epic...wooo hoooo

Heres what I am looking for on my TR2 LV20 kensai TH fighter

First off, the litany of the dead trinket is going to go very well with the epic marilith chain- seeker 10 is a very nice increase in dps, and 5 dr. I am currently even on my str and con with +2 tomes so a +7 stat and the LOTD will bump me another 2. The blue augment slot can be used to introduce a +7 stat.

The epic belt of the mroranon frees up the helmet and allows me to replace my encrusted ring with a different ring as long as it has the same exceptional stat since the str is no longer needed due to teh belt.

Now that the helm is free, red dragon helm is useful for an additional guard and another slot to craft on until i think of a more worthy helmet such as greensteel perhaps.

Also, if ur not having any trouble hitting anything- personally i usually dont, the epic hyena claw necklace is nice with teh +7 con, however the toughness will overlap with the belt, but for the time being its nice to have.

Obviously the epic sword of shadows.

Epic cloak of the silver concord probably gives a higher persuasion for the UMD on my fighter.

I am able to reach almost a 40 UMD on a max dps and almost 1k hp fighter right now.
