@ Lyeman - sry, head did not explode but my in game items costs have just gone WAY up (I did not realize that you COULD delibrately go below 6 in a stat!!). I have LOTS of toons that could use more stat points and that Cha is a dump stat. BTW - I am rather interested in how the build works please keep me informed.

It was a one-off experiment for a dump-AC DPS monk; as it turns out, monk DPS still sucks.

As for the WIS, that was base 6 with the -2 from fire stance

You are severely gimping some of your powerful monk abilities by having a negative wisdom mod.

Have a couple of warforged, and several monks; never been terribly impressed with the monk abilities that have DCs.

No, I ran him up to 6, which is when some of each class's abilities should start to come out, and he wound up being a monk with a fantastic stunning blow, but no AC and not enough HP to justify a guard build. Would probably do OK in epic stuff, but utterly hopeless in getting there

Well, it's not that I forgot, it's just that I wasn't exactly going for low WIS, it just happened

Yea, the problem came in that I needed DEX for TWF and wind stance, but that up'd the AC, and I just didn't have the HP for a guard setup.

My 18 human monk is my dps monk, max strength and con (15dex, use a +2 for17), has healing amp 30% human, 30% monk, 10%dt, 20% dt. Barb like HP, and does great dps, especially against mobs with 100% fort!

Yea, I have that build except it's warforged with the power attack enhancements; then I have my DPS characters. Even with touch of death, it's not the same.
