    Default Arcane Kensei 2

    So today I found myself without power for several hours, so I decided I'd rework this archer build now that Update 3 is here. (Original builds here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=217689 )

    I took a lot of inspiration from Bunker's build, but I decided to do some things differently. (For reference, his build can switch between Ranged and Tanking modes). Instead of taking Skill Focus: Intimidate and Bullheaded I decided to take the THF line so I can attempt to get aggro when in tanking mode through hate as well. To work that in I'm going to take a level of Ranger instead of Barbarian so I get Bowstrength for free. This also nets me Favoured Enemy: Evil Outsider for +3 damage to them with an enhancement, and +1 AC as well. (Bunker's Build: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php...=1#post2458048 )

    Transmuting of Pure Good (Scimitar or Rapier), Mineral 2 if I go completely crazy.



    *: I'm not sure what should go here. Suggestions very welcome.


    Two things I'm nervous about with the above gear:

    1.No +15 Intimidate Item. Without one my Intimidate is only a 32, which I don't think will be enough. (Not even sure if 45 will be enough. Help please? I'm not opposed to switching gear to get it high enough for certain occasions).
    2.No Deathblock Item. I know I can use the Deathward clickie from Tangleroot, but that won't protect me from Beholders. (I could always switch between having it casted on me via Clickie or Cleric/FvS and using the Silver Flame necklace for it though)

    Will a total mod of 52-59 Intimidate be enough? Or do I need to take feats to boost that higher?


    Also, would it be more beneficial for me to not take the THF feats, and instead take Khopesh prof, perhaps with the TWF feats? (If I did that I've have to drop a feat somewhere...Power Attack I'd think)


    Rough AC calculation (I've never done a character that worries about AC before, so this is probably a bit messed up here):

    Self-sustained:
    10 base
    +15 Armor Bonus (Dragontouched plate)

    +9 Tower Shield (Levik's)
    +5 Protection

    Is this enough? Or should I work Dodge into my feats somehow as well?
