    Default The Windmill

    Wanted to make a toon with some decent DPS and skills. Really liked the idea of monk splashes with monk weps. So I made my own quarter staff user. Note some of my enhancements are out of order or slightly skewed because I have an outdated char generator. I will have Kensei I and Ken Wep Mastery I Q-staff. Went to lvl 6 in monk for second lvl of wind stance. Anyways here it is, feel free to hit me with thoughts, suggestions, or criticisms.

    kensei requires fighter level 6

    if you read the destroyer, you get my sig. if you read it as a teen and had a younger brother, you really get it. otherwise, relax i'm not quite that arrogant.

    Why not go 20 monk and use handwraps? You will have higher AC, do much more damage, have higher dcs, spell resistance, better saves, better stances, etc. etc.

    Got a little goofed it's supposed to be 6 lvls of fighter and only 8 lvls of rogue.

    Ok Stats are mostly the same but I completely reworked him.

    He is now a 2 monk 6 Kensei and 12 Acrobat.

    Totally didn't do enough research. Thief acrobat gives me a big haste boost, and allows me to be more trap oriented which is something that appeals to me. Any thoughts?

    I haven't really paid much attention to Prestige Enhancements, but aren't you only allowed to have 1 Prestige Enchancement set at a time? Basically, if you're a Kensei, you can't be a Thief Acrobat; and vise versa.
    Rangers don't die, they just teleport to their bind point.

    You may not be two PrE's from the same class... two PrE's from different class (or race) are fine and doable... i.e. Kensai/tempest (fighter/ranger) is legitimate and quite common... kensai/arcane archer (fighter/elf) is legitimate... Tempest/arcane archer (ranger/elf) is not.

    I have seen 12 ROG 6 MNK 2 FTR work well as far as quarterstaff player. The whole wind stance + THF-acrobat Q-Staff speed boost. Its like a blur. Though check out the "Big F-in Stick" build. This may be what you are after.

    I ended up going 1/6/13

    ! lvl of monk for FLurry of Blows and Wis AC. 6 fighter for Kensei (little more dmg but little less haste from adept of the wind), and 13 Rogue 12 for Acrobat 2 and I took 1 more lvl for extra sneak atk dmg over 1 more monk lvl.
