Monks get fast speeds as well, so lets not forget them.
Eh want to confirm as to whether or not the house P trinket stacks with haste spell (from clickie), far as I know both are supposed to be enhancement bonuses and thus not stack.

But that's from reading the forums, I've been too busy/lazy to test it out myself heh.

Correct, the Phiarlan Pendant of Time does not stack with Haste's speed boost does not stack with Striders.

    See http://ddowiki.com/page/Run_speed

Also for the last time we discussed fastest runspeed, see:

I am going to post this as a thread. I planned on TRing my Llollo Lionlore Toon, but wasn't sure what to do. I remembered playing with the idea of a super sonic warlock, using bard speed and warlock speed boost from soul eater tree. I made one a while ago, it rocked! Super fast, runs up... triple sonic blast... runs away and repeats triple blast by the time the monsters catch up... then runs away again if they managed to survive. Bard amped sonics wonderfully. I didn't keep that toon, but it would have been great. I might make it again. Butttttttt...... there is a faster build, and this is what Llollo is going to turn into..

    Put on you seat belts!!!

This is easily the fastest build possible. No monks. Nope. +30% speed is not enough. Rogue? Nope... +1% per rogue level is not enough. Barb. +10% is definitely not enough. Sooooooooo here we goooooooooooooooo oooo ooooo oo o o o

Bard 13 (Warchanter cap gives +15% speed, Swashbuckler gives +13% speed.. that is 28% speed from Bard alone, plus warchanter speed boost +50% speed.)
Fighter 6 (Take Bulwark Defender. You can't make a paladin bard, so you have to use fighter tree to reach for that... +10%.. it stacks)
Barbarian 1 (just for the additional +10% speed)

Now.. cast expiditious retreat... +25% speed. When you are already moving super fast.. the game apparently can't keep up, and... it stacks. I tested it!

Now in Epics... Twist in Grandmaster of Flowers for another +30% speed sustained and pick whatever Destiny you want!

The sustained Total: 178% speed (can reach 180% if you lose 2 fighter levels... but can squeeze in fighter crit bonus... for 2% speed it is a deal)
Add Retreat 203% speed when game is unable to keep up. And very easy to sustain.
Add boost 253% speed rate with boost.

Made on last night to try it out. Wow. You have to think differently you go so fast. Everything is a blur... you feel funny... different... zoooommmmm.
Game animations have a hard time keeping up... watch out.... you will see :P... this is why you gotta think differently... adapt to it. I finally did, and when I did, I liked it!

All the stuff mentions above... does not move that fast. I will gladly race anyone to the top of Stormhorns mountain and easily win! The Pharlian toy.. useless, can't use it in quests. This build... run to the boss, kill boss, and do it faster then any other build there is. You don't even need to fight things, just run past them so fast they give up on the idea of chasing you... and they do! lol. Throw in displacement and invisibility... nothing in the game can catch you, NOTHING! As if that didnt amp survivability up to an extreme... this build uses Bulwark too :P

You move so fast... it is ridiculously fun! No other build can achieve this speed rate. Not ranger/monks, or rogue splashes, not even my sonic warlock idea. It is focuses solely on speed, sacrificing only 2% speed in the end for +1 crit. This is the Strider Class at its finest. Strider is the best way to describe it. The game is not the same when you play it. You become Nike, the God of Speed... and feel like it. :P

Now I will post the thread on it and go into the details. :P

Depends on the landscape, the ability to "leap" 5-10 times in quick succession makes some maps much quicker than plain run speed.

This aside, very nice build i have played my variant of this a year ago or so.
